Premier Luxury Mountain Resort

Love it love it love it. This hotel deserves their five stars service reviews. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The spa facilities was absolutely perfect! Will definitely be back!

The hotel is lovely, our bedroom a bit tired and dated, but large. Our 13 year old daughters bed was more like a camp bed with an uncomfortable mattress, our bed was fine. The room was very warm but we were able to turn the temperature down. The shower was excellent and hot. Nice to have the little extras, bath salts, dressing gowns and slippers. We arrived late at night, missing the dining service but was surprised to find fresh fruit, drinks and snacks in our fridge and a meat and cheese salad plate each, really appreciated. We made use of the spa facilities daily, the pool is small but sufficient. We enjoyed the sauna, steam rooms and hot tub after a long day of skiing. We also enjoyed a wonderful massage. Breakfast was really good, the fresh omelettes were excellent. On a couple of occasions some foods were cold. Evening meal was good, served from 7pm. We always found something to suit everyone but did feel the food was a bit repetitive. It would be nice if you could get water on the tables with the evening meal. On our first evening (6pm) we sat in the bar area playing Uno, drinks were brought to our table by the barstaff. The second evening we set up again at the same table and was told we were not allowed to play games, that was a shame for us as a family. Rules are rules but should be consistent. The hotel is a nice 10 minute walk into the town, 15 to the gondola. The free shuttle buses are available 8- 12 and then 3-5pm. It would have been useful for us for the shuttle bus to run slightly earlier in the afternoon. The staff were always friendly and helpful.

I’m sorry to have stolen the title of someone else’s review, but I couldn’t agree more with the person that wrote that this hotel was more like a Premier Inn than a Premier luxury hotel. This is most certainly not a five star establishment, more like a three star. We stayed for a week towards the end of February and whilst it was half term in parts of England, the hotel was certainly not overrun with children . The main issue for us, was that the food in the buffet restaurant was tepid to lukewarm every single evening. We arrived when the restaurant opened at 7 pm hoping for hot food and still couldn’t find any except the soup. The array of starters and salads was magnificent and delicious, but I didn’t want to eat cold food every night. For us that was very disappointing. There was a great selection of food, but everything is stored under a light and not in a Bain Marie. There is no water available unless you buy bottles of it . The desserts, however, were delicious and plentiful with lots of fresh fruit to choose from as well. I could certainly not complain about the breakfast. There was a magnificent choice including the omelette station which was done to order. It was the only hot food that we had there. There is a coffee machine, but again the coffee was not as hot as it should be. Our room left a lot to be desired. We had a junior suite with a wardrobe in the kitchen area, four coat hangers between two people, and a cutlery drawer that contained only a bottle opener and 4 teaspoons. We arrived late on the Saturday evening from the airport and the buffet restaurant was closed. A plate had been made up for both of us which included bread, butter, cheese spread, and some ham. Too bad if you’re a vegetarian. We had to use the teaspoon in the room to spread the hard butter on the bread! The fruit plate was very nice. The bar area was very pleasant . it was extremely quiet considering it was a large hotel. I didn’t care for all the big TV screens showing sport, but that was just my preference. The swimming pool, steam room, sauna and Jacuzzi was excellent. I had it to myself most days during the day. It was really clean and there was a lifeguard on duty most of the time. The outdoor pool which we didn’t use opens at 5 pm. it was a 10 to 15 minute walk into Bansko to the gondola or a courtesy bus every 15 minutes which stopped at 5pm. There is a break in the day when the courtesy bus doesn’t run. There are multiple bars and restaurants near the gondolas which were great. It was a 2 1/2 hour transfer from the airport to the hotel. Apart from the reception area and the bar, the hotel is quite tired and really does need an upgrade. There is a cash machine in the lobby area and also an à la carte restaurant which opens most most of the day. Again it was very quiet. Bed and breakfast guests can upgrade to half board, but I really wouldn’t waste your money. Wrap up warm and venture out into Bansko for the evening where you will find multip

The most wonderfull holiday we have had in Bansko till now. The kids were pretty happy with they play room, or at least we were. The wife was extremly satisfied with the spa , a trully 5 star services. The rooms need to be upgraded a bit to achieve the level of the lobby and the spa. Over all a nice family holiday we enjoyed this year in Bansko.

Δυστυχώς δεν ανταποκρίνονται οι παροχές με το κόστος. Το 2κλινο δωμάτιο, μόνο με πρωινό, κοστίζει 200€. Στο δωμάτιο υπήρχε μόνο μια πρίζα δίπλα στο κρεβάτι που είχαν συνδέσει ένα πορτατίφ και άλλη μια έξω από το μπάνιο, χαμηλά, κοντά στο πάτωμα (η οποία ήταν και χαλασμένη! με αποτέλεσμα να μην έχουμε να φορτίσουμε κινητά, ταμπλετ, κάμερες, ρολόγια. Το spa δεν θα το χαρακτήριζα spa, αλλά παιδική πισίνα με τους γονείς να μαθαίνουν στα παιδάκια τους να επιπλέουν και τα μεγαλύτερα να τρέχουν γύρω γύρω, να κάνουν βουτιές και να παίζουν μπάλα. Η μεταφορά στη γόνδολα γίνεται από το ξενοδοχείο αλλά 12:00-15:00 ΔΕΝ υπάρχει μεταφορά! & τα λεωφορεία είναι παλαιωμένα. Εχει τις υπηρεσίες που λέει αλλά σε ιδιαίτερα κακή παροχή.

Excellent hotel, all staff very friendly and helpful. Also very clean and as you would expect for 5 stars. Vic in the ski shop also very helpful providing excellent customer service. Highly recommend the hotel and resort. Slightest downside, can be slippy around outside heated pool, but once in the pool it very nice and turns a little magical when snowing.
