You get your own room, which is nice, but the walls are pretty thin. I first got what might be the worst room in the place, located between the bathroom and reception, so heard the noise from the bathroom, reception, and everyone walking in and out. I asked to move and the staff kindly helped and gave me a new room, which was quieter. Definitely appreciated that. The shared bathrooms are fine (note for Western female travellers: all toilets are squat toilets) but get busy in the evening. There's a water machine which dispenses warm to hot drinking water. The location was good, near a central metro station and ten minutes' walk from the northern entrance of the Temple of Heaven. Also a convenience store nearby, and a few food places the next street over. Not a social/party hostel. If you're a light sleeper, avoid, or bring your good earplugs. If you can sleep through anything, this is a good choice.
