Mutianyu Great Wall Country Park Homestay Reviews

Nice stay very close to the wall. There is a Chinese restaurant right at the front of the property if you want Chinese or about a 15 minute downhill walk to shopping area with pizza hut and burger king. We walked down but decided to take a ride back up because it is all uphill. Kids enjoyed having their own little space upstairs and host was polite and helpful. Would stay here again.

This location is very near to the Entrance of Great Wall of China. Near also to the restaurant so you can have your meals. I like the place it gives me Chinese ambiance. I really feel like we are in china. Also the guy who assist us is very friendly and helpful . He also helping us to find a taxi.

You cant’t get closer to the Great Wall entrance. The host was very responsive and helpful. Tip: bring some food/ snacks with, there is not much to choose from in the area. Overall we had a really good stay.

Its a really cool place to stay. It is a 5 minute to the main entrance of the Great Wall. The amenities are a bit bare. Plan to bring in your own snacks and food. There are a couple of restaurants right around the corner. There is a restaurant that seems to be known for its fish right by the walkway to the hotel. The next restaurant over has a couple of good dishes that speak to a western palate and Western Kids, sweet and sour chicken, kong pao chicken. The rooms are clean and spacious. Beds are a bit hard. If traveling with another the quad room is perfect. Each with your own room and bathroom, with a joined area with a big table to hang out. The kids loved the upstairs sleeping area to make forts and there is a book nook in the center area. I would stay there again.

This is a great location for visiting the Great Wall. Great for a large group of people. Can BBQ and relax on site so would book again for more relaxing / hanging out experience rather than just staying the night.

A very unique Chinese courtyard, within walking distance to the cable car and ropeway, quiet and comfortable, the host is patient and thoughtful, and the price is moderate. Because we have more female guests, it would be icing on the cake if there is an extra mirror in the room!

The whole yard is super nice, right at the foot of the Great Wall, with a large parking lot next to it, which is especially suitable for project team building activities. There are two large houses and a 3.5-meter-high kang, which can accommodate about 12 people. I especially like the big kitchen and the large platform on the second floor where you can watch the stars at night and drink tea during the day.

The host is friendly and the hotel is clean and very close to the entrance of Mutianyu Great Wall. However, there is only one restaurant nearby, so you may have to eat well before going in. The price is affordable. If you go to the Great Wall, it is a good choice for accommodation.

A great stay experience. The room is very clean and the bedding is also very clean. The bed upstairs is a water-heated bed, which is very comfortable to sleep in in winter. When the temperature dropped sharply when I went to Beijing, the room and lobby were very warm. The lobby was very warm and cozy. There is a large restaurant. I took two children to go there. They can run upstairs and downstairs. The roof of the restaurant is close to the mountain. There is a roof garden with a great view. There is also a hammock swimming pool. There is also a small wild animal running in the yard. Children love cats very much. It was extremely quiet all around. There are two restaurants and a large parking lot at the door. Very convenient. It takes five or six minutes to walk to the entrance of the scenic spot. When we checked in, we were the only family and had the courtyard to ourselves for a day. It felt great. I had so much fun that I forgot to take photos of the room. What you see is what you get.

A very comfortable yard, just perfect for three families to have a barbecue, drink and chat. The key is that it takes no more than 10 minutes to walk to Mutianyu Gate, which is very convenient.

This B&B is really good. The owner of the B&B is warm and kind. He always thinks about us and makes many suggestions for us. It is clean and tidy, with complete facilities. The location is very good, very close to the Mutianyu Great Wall. I highly recommend everyone to experience it.
