Barceló Benidorm Beach - Adults Recommended

Stayed for the first time last July for four days and wrote a positive review. This time stayed for four nights but brought two other couples with me so three couples in total. Found everything just as good as last time and my friends were happy with their stay too. I would still recommend either a side sea or full sea view if your budget can stretch to either and try and get floor seven (top floor) or as high as possible. The lifts still have a mind of their own so its a lottery what floor you end up on but you will with perseverance get to your floor eventually......Personally I'd take the stairs if you can as it can be quicker. The food is still very good with plenty of choice for breakfast and evening meals but I would still would like to see water available from a water dispenser for free with your evening meal rather than having to buy bottles brought to your table. The selling point is still the view from the terrace on floor eight which opens at 10am its still the best view of Levante beach any hotel can offer as the hotel itself is right on the beach front. Hopefully if I came back to Benidorm another time the Barcelo will still be my first choice of stay.

Very Modern Hotel. Rooms really nice and have all you need , Fridge , Hairdryer , Kettle & T making ,Big telly & good channels. Food really fresh and varied at the buffet. Breakfast also included sparkling wine was a little surprised we didn't get one free glass with evening meal. Perfectly situated if Old town is your choice to spend more time but very walkable to the wilder area also.

One of the best maintained and run hotels I've ever stayed at. Great location. Wonderful staff and the breakfast choice is well presented quality food. Location right on the beach there is nothing to fault. Even when we had an issue with shower hose it was fixed within 15 minutes. The upper floor has plenty of sun loungers. I cannot praise the hotel enough. A great building well maintained with wonderful happy and helpful staff. Can't wait for our next stay

If you want to have the best CAFE IRLANDÉS ( IRISH COFFEE ) in Benidorm come to this place . BORJA makes them amazingly loads of care and attention.

I was really looking forward to our stay, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet expectations. We arrived at 11am, and our room wasn’t ready until 3pm. I understand it needed cleaning, but we had no place to change and were stuck in our warm clothes for hours. Another issue was the €300 deposit. This wasn’t mentioned anywhere in advance. My boyfriend and I didn’t have our cards with us, so we had to rely on my mams card. If she hadn’t been there, we would have had to pay out of our spending money, which was very inconvenient. You also have to pay €20 euro each for a towel deposit so we just bought our own from shop. The pool area is tiny and gets crowded quickly. If you’re not up early when it opens (10am), you’re unlikely to get a sunbed. The lifts are another problem—they require a key card for each floor, take a long time, often stop unexpectedly, and overcrowding is common. The front door was often broken, and the food selection was limited for a relatively new hotel. Our room also had stains, and the wood near the bathroom was coming away. Finally, the staff weren’t particularly cheerful, which didn’t help the experience. I usually don’t complain, but I left feeling really disappointed, as I expected much more from this hotel.
