I am still at the Sandis Benidorm Suites I thought I would have to write this after reading poor reviews, i am staying at the Sandos another 2 nights and I don,t want to go home and am booking to come back ne t year this place is brilliant. My friends and I booked the Select Package which gives us access to the Select lounge, this place is perfect, a full stocked bar which you help yourself in a beautiful setting, the upgrade is well worth the money. Staff are helpful and amazing Mat from Scotland is a true gentleman helpful kind , always on the look out to help. His cheerful character makes him one of the top people there. Molly on reception is fab her lovely kind patient manner is perfect, knows lots of information about the area, so always on hand with helpful advice. Food I honestly I wasn't expecting this to be great after reading some reviews, the food is delicious there is something for everyone, my gluten free friend will agree to this. The only problem I have with the food is not being able to make my mind up because it all looks so great. Yesterday lunch time, there was salmon, prawns, muscles, chicken, beef stunning salads, live cooking station, pizza I have missed loads out and all lovely quality. All the staff are amazing the show last night ( wasn't expecting much because of the reviews) it was fab, fun and very entertaining. The young lady ( sorry didnt get your name) was brilliantl. I have 2 nights left and will update further. If you are miserable, unkind, love giving bad reviews please dont stay at this hotel, because the hard working staff dont deserve this and we happy grateful people dont want you here either. My friends and I agree we will be coming back next year, because its such a fabulous hotel.

Hotel is very clean. Reception were very helpfull. Great location. First time to benidorm. All staff are like a family. Food was good.( Not all brits want a fry up in the morning ). Not sure its the right place for fussy eaters (children). Did have pizza and pasta though. Rooms cleaned every day. Would we stay here again yes most definitely.

The hotel looks lovely, clean and spacious. The food is amazing and despite what previous reviews have said I thought the food was well labelled with a completely separate vegetarian section. The pool is a good size and although we didn’t get to the pool early and didn’t save sunbeds (like everyone else had) we did always manage to find space, even if we had to move some beds and umbrellas around. The tiles around the pool were unbelievably slippery, my son slipped from standing (not running) and chipped his tooth on the side of the pool. The entertainment was this hotels major downfall. One member of the entertainment team was seen frequently and very friendly but we only saw her during the day on one occasion. She was there most evenings. The kids disco was rubbish. My two ages 9 and 12 still like to join in with dances and games and there was none of that. It only lasted half an hour and once we sat through it without even realising it was happening as there was no interaction with the audience. We were expecting the silly dances with actions and kids games etc. after the half and hour kids disco, they would have shows, some were awful, some were good. But again we would have loved to see a bit more interaction like a bingo. On the last night they slightly redeemed themselves with a quiz and karaoke. The kids were bored and not interested watching the shows so ended up on screens. Which looking around, most of the kids were doing. One other problem, they don’t provide coasters so the tables are constantly dripping wet with the condensation from the cold drinks so we couldn’t play cards or use the table for anything. They have a teenage room and a kids room but the kids room (apparently for up to and including age 12) was for toddlers with baby toys and a small seesaw for tiny toys. The ‘teenage’ room consisted of a PlayStation, which you had to have a log in to use, which we don’t, an interactive dart board which was broken. Two arcade games which you had to pay for, and there were two pool tables in other areas, which you also had to pay for. The daytime activities were sporadic, with no timetable available. Twice we saw things happening (darts competition and a pool competition) but it was too late to join in as it was half way through, but we had been sitting around the pool the whole time so no one had bothered to come around and let us know it was happening. Other than that, we saw one water polo and two aqua aerobics, and we were there for a week. We were hoping for a daytime foam party around the pool having seen similar in other hotels but there wasn’t anything like that. As a couple I would probably go back to the hotel for the food alone, but in my opinion, this is not a hotel for a family holiday.
