Ilunion Abando Bilbao ★★★★

📍 Calle Colón de Larreategui, 9,

📍 Alameda de Recalde, 12, 14,

"I have a great stay! The location is fantastic — just a few steps from the Guggenheim Museum, which made exploring the city super convenient. The room was very cozy, clean, and comfortable — exactly what we were hoping for. However, there's one detail that could be clearer: the hotel advertises "private parking," but in reality, it's a public city parking lot located about 450 meters away. It costs €20 per day, and there is no parking directly at the hotel. Not a dealbreaker, but definitely something to know in advance."

📍 Loteria Kalea, 3, Ibaiondo,

📍 Pérez Galdós K., 56, Basurtu-Zorrotza,

"The location is perfect, as the hotel is situated just above the Intermodal Bus Station, which provides convenient connections to and from the airport, as well as access to the metro. The hotel is very clean, and the breakfast is delicious. The only thing I would comment on regarding breakfast is the coffee selection: there is no cappuccino available, as the coffee machine only offers espresso or American coffee. In terms of the hot breakfast options, they only serve scrambled eggs, which were undercooked for my preference. I would have appreciated having other egg options, such as boiled eggs, an omelette, or fried eggs, as this would have given guests more choice. I also really liked that the hotel provides complimentary drinks in the lobby, including cold water infused with lemon and orange. This is a lovely touch and especially appreciated during hot weather, such as in August when I stayed. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and would definitely consider staying here again."

"It has very good location that’s close to most attraction points. Staff were very helpful and supportive. parking should be free for such 5 stars hotel as you will never find a spot outside and all parking areas are expensive."

"The location was good, and room was adequate. Strong smell of air freshener when I came into the room, so I needed to open all the windows to vent the space. The walls were pretty thin so people caughing and phones ringing bothered me a bit. Room was clean and the service at the front desk was friendly and helpful."
