We decided to spend our daughter's 2nd birthday at Holiday Inn Bintan and was pleasantly surprised by how amazing everything was. We were greeted by the friendly staff at the reception during check-in and was served by Dian who made the check-in process quick and fuss-free. The room was great - my only comment is that the balcony floor did feel a little dusty and the aircon was really sensitive, requiring you to ensure the balcony door is properly shut before the aircon is set on cool mode. I emailed the hotel beforehand informing them of my daughter's birthday, requesting for some decorations and a simple cake. And they delivered! Dian even wrote a really cute birthday wish for her. Amenities wise, my daughter really enjoyed the kids club and the pool. We wish we had more days to spend exploring the rest of the hotel. Given the location, there was not much food or shopping options around, except for Plaza Lagoi which has a few food establishments including Warung Yeah which the hotel provides shuttle service to and fro.
