Holiday Inn Resort Bintan Lagoi Beach by IHG

The stay is amazing for families with kids as there is a kids club. The kids club has indoor playground with hourly activities to entertain the kids. In the evening, the outdoor playground is opened for kids to enjoy with bicycles to ride. There is a drawback that they only serve buffets for lunch and dinner in their sole dining restaurant. There is no ala-carte menu available. But kids are free to dine at the buffets restaurant and there is always a kids corner in the buffets to enjoy their own non-spicy food, which kids enjoy a lot. There is also a kids swimming pool which has a depth of 0.5m which is very safe for kids. We can enjoy the beach at hotel indigo which is just beside this hotel holiday inn. We like our room location which faces the pond as it is quiet and serene. We can have some quiet moments sitting at the balcony to avoid the hustle and bustle of the swimming pool.

One of the worse experiences. The advertisement of this place is much better than being there. The food is subpar, very disappointing. There’s only one restaurant to service the entire hotel. The rooms were filthy. There are not 1, not 2, not 3 but 4 cockroaches in my rooms! They all have a musky smell. So if you don’t mind such filthy rooms, then Holiday Inn is the perfect place. The service crew were largely clueless and initially wanted my family to continue to stay in the rooms after informing them after the cockroaches. And not keen to change our rooms because they were full!!! The amenities is lacklustre unless you really have nothing much to do in general. Feels very 2 star at a 4 star price and a trap for Singaporeans. They appear to be objectively enticing Singaporean to earn your money, that’s about it. Will never recommend this place to anyone.

Wonderful short trip vacation spot for families with kids, the pool entertained kids for hours. family rooms with entertainment to cool down when the sun was scorching and bicycles allowed older kids to roam around the resort freely. Will recommend for families!

Overall, we had an enjoyable stay at Holiday Inn Resort Bintan. Cleanliness was generally good, although the floor was still a little dusty. One small inconvenience was the lack of hooks in the toilet to hang towels, and the pillows were too soft for our liking—made sleeping a bit uncomfortable. For a 5-star resort, the complimentary toiletries were minimal (only toothbrush and toothpaste provided), and there was no iron or bathrobe in the room, although an iron and board can be requested. The resort is not located near food outlets, so transport is needed if you want to explore outside. That said, the in-room dining exceeded our expectations—the steak is a must-try, absolutely superb! The resort also offers many facilities, which kept us occupied throughout our stay. Big shout-out to the resort crew—they were incredibly helpful and responsive, even assisting with printing our boarding pass and explaining the complimentary land transfer. One area that could be improved is the ferry bus arrangement. It got quite crowded during boarding and we didn’t realize a second bus was coming, so our group got split up unnecessarily. It would be helpful if a staff member could assist in organizing guests. Despite the few areas for improvement, we definitely plan to return. The hospitality and facilities made it a memorable stay!

Love how clean & bright the room was, staff were also very friendly and welcoming. Facilities are great for families with young kids.

60번째 생일을 기념하는 여행이었는데 출국전날 응급실로 실려가는 일이 생기고 말았어요 그날로 3일 입원하고 퇴원했고 이틀후 수술을 앞두고 있어요 호텔을 환불불가로 예약한걸 알고있었지만 이건 예측할수 없는 사고와 갔은 불행한 일이라 병원서류들을 종류별로 두번이나 보내고 설명했지만 매몰차게 환불불가 통보를 받았어요 환불이 된다면 우린 꼭 다시 여행을 가자고 얘기했었는데 아쉬운 맘입니다
