Overall, it was a pleasant stay. We thoroughly enjoyed everything the resort had to offer and had a wonderful time. The hospitality was top-notch, and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway with excellent service. The staff were incredibly helpful—special thanks to Dila, Chemil, and Warso for making our stay extra special. But the true highlight was the spa treatment—it was an absolutely amazing experience.

get food and living conditions within the resort, but not much to do outside or nearby bring insect repellent as places in tropical climate usually have mosquitoes bring sunblock if you are concern of getting sunburn while out on the beach

Excellent service from the concierge to the servers to the spa staff. They are also very accommodating. They made an effort to speak in english eventhough I spoke in their local language. Also fast responses when we communicated via email. Liked the room I was given as well due to the unobstructed view of the sea. However, The resort could use with more lights at the pathway as its still quite dark when walking about the resort at night.

More sunbeds and umbrellas needed on the beach. Room very cleaned but hotel is quite old.

As a first time solo traveler, I would say I did not have anything planned the moment I reached the resort. But my goal for this trip was mainly a getaway from everyday city life and it did reach my purpose. There are activities that can be in and around the resort. First time tried kayaking and archery. All the staffs were super friendly. From reception, activities, restaurant staff until check out. I went during an off peak season, so even passing by a staff at the lobby of the Lotus Cafe, I was shocked that I was greeted by the staff with my name.

service was excellent. breakfast is a feast with many options. there are paid and free activities organized by the hotel for 30 minutes to one hour. i enjoyed bird walk on the golf course at 7am, though there is also pool zumba.

First time visiting Bintan and this hotel was perfect, great location on the beach and near to the golf course. Staff were super friendly and always willing to help. Excellent place, we will definitely be coming to stay again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my whole time at Angsana Lagoi, Bintan. The staff and the service are outstanding. The amenities are acceptable. Regarding the food room service, the portions are ample, and it's tasty. Also, the breakfast buffet. I enjoyed it. I highly suggest it and plan to return. The team is genuine and consistently supportive. Thank you. ^^

We went there in 2018, the facilities are slightly run down though the room are still nice. We took a family suite for 6 pax. The restaurant for the dining needs improvement haven’t changed since 2018. However, we went there for my husband’s 40th birthday i had informed them in advanced and received this nice surprise. Overall it’s still nice for families with kids.

I stayed there purely for golf trip. I didn’t have much time to enjoy the facilities but I really loved the spa. The massage was excellent. All the staffs were very friendly and professional. Dinner bbq buffet was really great as well. One thing that I didn’t enjoy much is the room itself. As the resort is quite old, I can feel that it requires some renovation.

I play golf at the nearby Laguna Bintan Golf Course and have returned again to stay at Angsana Bintan. A special mention to the main restaurant manager at Angsana who is very attentive and helpful. The spa at Angsana Bintan is great and the masseurs and staff provide a very good service. One issue is that they charge you if you take away the bedroom slippers and the beach slippers without actually telling you in advance. I was almost caught out to pay about 20USD for this which is a bit preposterous for a 5 star hotel! My room had twin beds of generous size each with lots of room to move around, a working desk, a lounging sofa and a balcony with furniture. The room offered a great view of the beach and the sea.
