"Having a 7am International Flight out of Brisbane I decided a night near the airport was a better option than a very early departure from the Gold Coast. The Airport International Hotel is standard motel style with clean functional rooms. Room includes tea and coffee making facilities, plates, cutlery and even wine glasses On the adjacent corner is a convenience/servo and 500metres further along a Dan Murphys. On my way to Dan's I noticed an Italian restaurant, and up a side street, a Japanese restaurant, a Burger/Pizza/Kebab place and a couple of other Restaurant/Bars. MOST IMPORTANT to note, if you are a light sleeper make sure to ask for a room on the other side of the motel from Kingsford Smith drive, the road noise is horrendous!! It is only 10 minutes drive to the airport ( slightly further to the Domestic Terminal ) and if I have a future early departure flight I will stay at the Airport International again."

"friendly helpful receptionist. Facilities very good for what we expected. Was a flying visit, we ate dinner out and because we had a very early departure we were unable to partake of the breakfast offered. Off street parking was a bonus. Wheel chair access a definite plus as no stairs to climb or negotiate if guests have slight disabilities."

"We particularly liked the location of the hostel. You can easily walk everywhere: in 15 mins to the bus station, 10 to the town hall, 10 mins to the museums in the Southbank. Other than this, the room was big and comfortable, and it was very quiet despite its location on George Street and having dorms in the building. We couldn't hear a thing at night. People at reception were nice and accommodating. They even upgraded our room for free 🙂 I would come back if ever in Brisbane again."

"I absolutely hated this place. It’s tired, run-down, with paper-thin walls and decor that looks frozen in the 80s. The worst part was arriving in the evening to find reception closed, then being forced to deal with staff on the end of a phone who were unhelpful, needlessly difficult, and seemed to take pleasure in being obstructive. An all-around miserable experience."

"Love the hotel, location, cleanliness, comfort of the room, amenities, and friendly staff. HOWEVER, after 8 hours of flying, or driving, the staff greet you only to require you to check yourself in at the kiosk. I went through the whole complex process with an attendant assisting only for the kiosk to tell me I had to see an attendant to check in. WTH! How frustrating and not a great way to be greeted at a hotel. I know the hotel staff was frustrated with the process too and it's another total disconnect from corporate with the individual hotel. I felt it was a cold and impersonal process especially following a long trip when all you want to do is to finally get to a room and away from the public. They also required me to use the kiosk to check out the next morning. I refused , handed the key to the attendant, and walked out. When you pay a hundred or two hundred or more for a room the least they can do is to provide you some personal service for 5 or 10 minutes during your stay. I will stay elsewhere besides an Accor hotel in the future. What a huge failure on their end."
