Beautiful accommodations in the heart of Cape May! Wonderful way to celebrate our anniversary. We enjoyed a relaxing weekend reading and people-watching on the porch and at the beach with a little shopping thrown in. We are looking forward to our return next year.

Wonderful stay at the Carol Villa. The staff is warm and welcoming. Rooms were spacious bathroom was new and updated. Our room included a coupon for a delicious breakfast in their popular Mad batter restaurant, which was convienient and delicious. We also enjoyed drinks in their bar that night, where they had live music.

The Carroll Villa was lovely. The location is great - 1/2 block to the ocean and 1/2 block the other direction to the Washington Street Mall. Upon check-in they told us they were upgrading us from a queen room to a king room which was great. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, the bathroom modern and most important - everything was spotlessly clean. While there is no on-site parking (typical of shore areas) the walk was easy and the golf cart service worked great. Because of the historic nature of the hotel, there are minimal common areas for guests which we missed.

This was our 2nd time staying at Carroll Villa, we enjoy coming down for their “spring fling. Clean rooms, lovely staff and they give you a breakfast voucher for $30 for a delicious breakfast at the Mad Batter. We will definitely be back next year!

We love the Carroll Villa! We have been spending our anniversary at this lovely hotel for the last three years. Perfect location. Great restaurant. Wonderful staff. Local entertainment appear in the restaurant bar. Guests seem to always be in a friendly mood when encountered in lobby.

My husband and I have stayed here multiple times! We love the friendliness of all the staff. Our $30 breakfast voucher is great. The breakfasts are soooo delicious! Also ate dinner in the restaurant. Delicious. I would recommend eating in the back for more privacy. We love the nightly entertainment at the bar area. But it is so good, that it can be difficult to actually get a seat. Location is close to everything. Highly recommend!

We just wrapped up our second visit to Carroll Villa, and once again, it didn’t disappoint. Our only regret? Not snagging Room #20 with the outdoor balcony—definitely booking that one next time! The rooms are beautifully decorated with such a cozy, welcoming vibe, and the service is top-notch. One of our favorite perks is the complimentary breakfast at The Mad Batter, and the 30% discount on dinner there is a nice bonus. The location is perfect—just a short walk to everything in the heart of Cape May. And the staff? So friendly and helpful, they really make you feel at home. Can’t wait for our next stay!

From the warm welcoming at the front desk to the friendliness of all the staff we encountered to the cleanliness and comfort of the room, we enjoyed our short stay and will surely return. We love the restaurant - food is exceptional and always made the trip at least once for breakfast during our annual weekly stay in Sea Isle City. Great places to work most often create the atmosphere for both team and guests that goes beyond just nice hospitality. Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay. The room was nice, clean, and comfortable, and the staff was friendly. There were no issues with noise, missing amenities, plumbing, or anything like that. My 6-year-old child was also a fan of the in-house Mad Batter restaurant.
