Farm hotel, very helpful experience

We are staying here for the weekend and as I am writing this review we are still here. We invited friends for lunch but the security told them that they need to call us to meet them at the gate. For a 5 star facility this is shocking amd the 1st time we came across this. We instead decided to.go and have lunch elsewhere and we will not return to stay here in the future.

Tolles (eher gehobenes) Hotel mit sehr freundlichen MitabeiterInnen. Das Essen war hervorragend … es gab auch eine großartige Weinauswahl. Die anrainende Farm ist jedenfalls einen Besuch (Besichtigung, Hofladen, …) wert - also quasi ein „Pflichtbesuch“.

The property is beautiful, rooms are clean, super comfortable beds. The staff is friendly and service is mostly good. We would recommend skipping food at the hotel and walking over to the farm for higher quality and better prices! The trails are all so lovely.

When you see pictures on the internet, you are never quite sure if the reality will meet your expectations- but this wonderful Country Lodge surpassed my expectations. This is a beautiful country hotel attached to a working farm. It has a delightful deli with organic and unusual produce. But the best part was the staff. Every single staff member, from cleaners to managers stopped to great us with a friendly smile and an offer of help. From the bartenders, reception staff, porters to the managers, we were treated with such kindness. A haven of Country life so close to the city and so family friendly - a definite place to return to.

Beautiful place, the staff are very attentive and friendly and are always at hand to help. Lunch menu was limited but did find something to eat , the evening meal was very nice and a beautiful setting overlooking the lake, the only downside was when our room was situated as it was a long walk to the restaurant and I have mobility issues , but I should have told the establishment about that beforehand.

Good location Extended our stay as happy with service and location. Very near to a number of nature reserves and 30 mins from airport.so ideal base to finish our holiday. Grounds beautiful with a large lake that was home to many bird species. Walks around hotel grounds and an underpass to a farm/restaurant/tourist attraction. Staff helpful and breakfast/restaurant food good
