Holiday Inn Express Changsha Kaifu, an IHG Hotel

I spent three days in Changsha and stayed here for three days. First of all, let me conclude that this is the worst Holiday Inn Express I have ever stayed in. Let me explain why it is bad. 1. Breakfast. It is said to be open until 10 o'clock. When I arrived at 9:30, the noodles were gone, and the rest of the food was leftover and empty. There was no timely replenishment. 2. No matter how you adjust the air conditioner in the room, The room temperature was 25 degrees. I called the front desk, but they couldn't solve it. I had to turn on the air conditioner and use the fan for three nights. I was speechless. 3. There was a musty smell mixed with smoke when I entered the room. I suspected that the carpet had not been cleaned for a long time. I called the aunt to clean it and reported the problem. The aunt was also helpless. She could only spray air freshener. After an hour, the smell came out again. 4. The hot water for the shower in the room was cold and hot, and the shower head in some rooms was leaking. I don't understand why such details should not appear in a hotel of this level. 5. I ordered a takeaway, and the takeaway guy said that I could only wait for the robot to deliver it at the front desk and asked me to wait for a while. I said okay, no problem, and then I waited for half an hour. . . I was also really speechless. I could only call to urge them and they came immediately. 6. When booking a room on Ctrip, they said it was a river view room, and the area was 40-45 square meters. I didn't see the river, and I felt that the room size was not as big as described by Ctrip, probably around 35 square meters. Summary: The location of the hotel is relatively remote, and it is not recommended if you are not driving. The hardware facilities are not well maintained, which is not what a hotel of this level should be. The picture below shows Changsha food, which has nothing to do with the hotel

It's a branded hotel, so the facilities are very good. The surrounding environment should be lively and convenient, but the current economy is not good enough and the popularity has decreased. But I stayed in the hotel for the comfortable bed and convenient parking. Special thanks to the lobby staff!

Although the hotel is not very close to the city center, there is a supermarket downstairs and it is also close to Siliping Night Market. The room is spacious, on a higher floor, with a wide view, suitable for friends to sit around the window. The bathroom is not big, but it is enough, the shower water is very smooth, and the bed is as comfortable as ever. The communication and adaptability of the front desk staff need to be improved. A simple job of making up for the room difference is repeatedly explained, and the check-in efficiency is really too low.
