بعد وصولهم إلى فندق شانغريلا، يقع فندق شانغريلا في منطقة التنمية الاقتصادية والتكنولوجيا في بحيرة بينانغ، فاجأتهم التفاصيل في غضون أيام فقط من إقامتهم. يقع الفندق داخل حي الشباب العالمي الذي ينقل من ساعة سونج، وبجوار معهد بيتش للدراسات العليا في جامعة جيا زينج ومدينة الملابس الصينية، ويتوفر موقف سيارات مجاني ومواقف مجانية، ويمتاز بموقعه الرائع لرجال الاعمال.
تم علاجه من قبل المدخل البدائي من خلال إضاءة الخشب الدافئ والديكور الخشبي الأصلي ، العاملين في مكتب الاستقبال يبتسمون ويرحبون بقدوميهم من 10 أمتار ، وتم توزيع تعب السفر بين مطابخ الشاي الساخنة الوردية ، أثناء تسجيل الدخول ، ينصح أيضاً بمناقشة مواقف الباصات المحيطة به مع الوجبات ، وبشكل احترافي و دافئ. الإطلالة من الغرفة خيالية و رائعة المنظر من النافذة في النهار يطل على المدينة وتشاهد الشروق في الليل والمنظر من الأعلى ممتد. نظام التحكم الذكي داخل الغرف يعمل على تكيف درجة حرارة الإضاءة مع تكييف الهواء، وسرير 2 متر كبير مع مجموعة من سرير النوم العاري المرتبة، فضلا عن عزل الصوت القوي تغنيني عن النوم ليلا جيدا. تصميم فصل الرطوبة وال干 والمياه في الحمام مرفق , تجهيز الحمام ببدائل ذكية ومرآة تجميل الضباب ومناشف غسيل ذات مرة واحدة على الوجه , تتميز التفاصيل بدقائق واضحة .
إن تصميم المناطق العامة أكثر إدهاشاً من تصميمها. فبار ”الجوار” يشتمل على مجموعة واسعة من الكتب، ومجموعة من التجسس التجاري يختار قراءة واحدة، وأكثرها إثارة للارتياح، وهي السمة الأكثر بروزاً في ذهني. يتميز بالنظافة و (( ستاف )) كما يتميز بوجود (( منقذين ) وصالة العاب رياضية مفتوحة 24 ساعة بالاضافة الى مغسلة ملابس داخلية مجهزة جيدا مع ادوات المطبخ بالإضافة الي ادوات الغسيل متوفرة في الغرفة كما يتم توفير الكيس الخاص بالملابس الغسيل بسهوله . تمكن من حل مشكلة الغسيل في المصاعد بشكل مستمر
كانت الزيارة رائعة من خلاهل الأطعمة الكورية الشمالية إلى كونا وفولاذ البحر الأبيض المتوسط. نزلنا في غرفة عائلية مع إطلالة جميلة على البحر. كانت الغرفة رائعة مع الإطلالة على البحر. كان الإفطار مفاجأة كبيرة مع الشموع الليلية. بوفيه الإفطار متنوع ، عصائر محلية من الشوربة الحمراء ، وزبادي الفول الطازج مع عصائر البيض المميزة. سلطة الخضار طازجة مع النكهات المعوية والطعم ، و وأكثر دفئاً هو طبق مساعدة ذاتية البدء في التاسعة والنصف مساءً، وطبق من البطون الساخنة، ووجبة البطون الساخنة.
يتميز هذا الفندق بكبره في الحجم وموقعه على الشاطئ . من العيوب أن الانتظار لتسجيل الدخول قد يستغرق مدة طويلة بسبب الزحام. طبعا للأفراد غير المحترفين غير متعاونين.بدءا من أول دخولنا الشاي الساخن المتوفر أو المزود أثناء المغادرة، بدأ التكييف بذكاء الغرفة وأجواءه الإنسانية في المنطقة العامة. وتتعامل زوق هندي ياتو مع خدماته وتفاصيله المهنية وتفانيه في إعادة تعريف الود الذي ستقيم به للإقامة في الأعمال. ستكون زيارتي القادمة لبحيره بينانغ"
