"Hotel is relatively new so it looks clean, but small details like the carpet in the corridors leading to rooms being embedded with dirt/debris is visible. Service staff is friendly, efficient, helpful, and give off a lovely vibe! The view is as promised, you can see the Yulong Snow Mountains comfortably from the bed, and watch both sunrise and sunset (stayed during summer). They also serve an excellent afternoon tea with freshly ground local coffee beans which was delicious. Downsides: - Window is non-tinted so we legit got suntanned just for opening the curtains. - Not particularly friendly for toddlers. - There seems to be nonsmoking rooms but they allow smoking and there are ashtrays in the bins of the common corridor, even outside people's rooms. - Room is incredibly small and full of sharp corners at toddler height. - There is limited counter top space and space to open luggage... Never felt claustrophobic before until staying in this small room with a toddler. If travelling solo/as a backpacker, this place is a top tier stay as it is close to many things in Lijiang."

"Staff were v helpful snd friendly- initially picked us up from Old Town market area - in absence of a street address our taxi driver dropped us off and pointed. Driver didn’t attempt to look up the name or to call the hotel. A shop owner phoned the hotel and someone came with a car to pick us up. It was further than advertised- a good 15 min walk. When we left, staff walked us to the main road and arranged for a taxi to drive us to the bus station in Lisiang for our onward trip to Jianchuang. Also checked bus departure times for us. Our room had a nice view to the mountains. The hotel is 100 m off the road, thus v quiet so we were not disturbed. Breakfast the first morning consisted of rice porridge, a boiled egg and a vegetable savoury. On the second day a large bowl of soup- ground meat, egg noodles and bok choy for each of us in addition to the aforementioned egg, porridge and savoury. This was the first time we used a remote to operate the many functions of toilet and bidet! What fun!"
