"To JR station by on foot is about 10 mins. Hotel doesn’t provide airport shuttle bus so you may be arrived by bus Taxi (2300yen to airport) or JR. Hotel is clean as usual Japanese style. Afternoon lady Counter staff face looks cold without smiling. Room is clean and quite enough space and bathroom is kind of big in Japan. Smoking is prohibited in entire hotel except 1st floor smoking room next by restaurant but looks no cleaner to do cleaning stuff for whole day. there is a Isakaya on first floor whose seafood says directly shipped from ocean nearby. Besides a lot “Snack bar in 10mins walking”. May go visiting if i like. Anyway 85 points out of 100. Its cheap on Ctrip anyway. I may stop by again on this price."

"This time I was staying in their annex building. The whole building has 5 rooms on two floors. There is a bar on the first floor, where guests can drink freely. The hot spring is in their main building, and there is a business car to pick you up. The waiter is very nice. But it is recommended to book their dinner in advance, because when we went there was off-season, there was no restaurant in Lake Shikotsu that opened at night, and there was no convenience store."

"The service is very good. The front desk staff is very enthusiastic. I don't understand the language, but they also served us very enthusiastically🥰 and helped us store our luggage for a day. But I don't know why the room has a peculiar smell. It's not smoke. It may be that the previous guests hung clothes at the ventilator. The peculiar smell is very strong. Other than that, the room is very clean and the bed is very soft. Is there a sheet under the quilt of the bed? Or something else. When you lift the quilt, it will fall out with the quilt. I don't know what the specific function is😂 I only slept for one night. The experience was good except for the peculiar smell."

"The hotel is a bit old but the advantage is that it is very close to JR. There is an Aeon nearby, which is less than 5 minutes' walk. This place is remote and suitable for staying overnight before going to the airport. The hotel provides airport pick-up service, which is very good."

"The hotel facilities are great, one night and two meals, no need to leave the hotel at all. The children's food is super delicious! Other flavors are different. The body lotion and face cream used are very useful, and I took one as a souvenir when I left. The park is opposite the hotel, which is very good to visit. The overall price of 10,000+ feels worth it."

"We stayed at JR Inn for our next morning flight from New Chitose airport. Location is good, close to many convenience stores, of course train station. Pick your own pillow from the lobby should be one of the features with JR INN. Unfortunately I can not comment other JR Inn as I only stayed this one for my whole trip. Compared with other similar hotels like Tokyu Stay, i have to say I prefer Tokyu Stay with much nicer and cleaner public bath. The public bath here is really small and the bath pool looks not very clean. I even saw a lady jumping in without shower, which scared other ladies. I just skipped my morning hot bath because of this. I used self-check in and check-out machine so no comments for staff service. They might see too many people come and go everyday, front desk are not very polite like other hotel staff either."

CcoteeradejThe location was great as we were able to catch our flight the next morning without much hassle. The hotel standard was superb with everything required in place. The room is modernand spacious. The staffs are very helpful. The rooms are so sound proof you do not hear the planes. YYi ShieanFrom the moment we arrived at Mizu no Uta, Tsuruga Resort at Lake Shikotsu, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of tranquil luxury. Valet parking greeted us, and we were swiftly escorted to a path lined with zen music, setting the tone for a stay where every detail exudes serenity. Upon entering the reception, a majestic wooden carving of an owl, a powerful symbol of protection in Ainu culture, watched over us. In a delightful and intimate touch, we were asked to remove our shoes – a gesture that immediately made the resort feel like a sanctuary. Walking barefoot on soft wooden floors in such a refined environment felt like the ultimate indulgence. Live harp music floated through the air as we were led past a live fireplace, its warm flames inviting guests to roast marshmallows, adding a whimsical, yet homely feel to the elegant surroundings. The staff, attentive yet discreet, escorted us to our room via separate lifts, ensuring our luggage was seamlessly handled. Entering the room, we were struck by its sheer spaciousness. A half-sized fridge, thoughtfully included, perfectly stored all our chilled treats from the road trip. But the true star was the view: an uninterrupted panorama of lush greenery, stretching out to meet the serene waters of Lake Shikotsu. The combination of the stunning scenery and the luxurious in-room robe made us feel like chaebols, lounging in opulence and shielded from the cool lakeside breeze. As for the dining, the buffet at Mizu no Uta is nothing short of spectacular. Where many buffets struggle to balance quantity and quality, this resort excels at both. Highlights included a live dessert station and a live pizza-making corner, where thin-crust pizzas, surprisingly better than those from Furano’s famed Cheese Factory, were expertly prepared. The spread also featured an incredible assortment of sashimi – the freshest I encountered during my 1.5-week trip across various hotels. The salmon and mackerel, both raw and uniquely marinated in glass jars, were exceptional. The hot dishes maintained the same elevated standard. A simple tomato-based clam spaghetti was transformed by the quality of ingredients, while even the sautéed kailan was enhanced with the addition of Parma ham. Local produce, such as the fresh broccoli used in the cream-based dishes, lent an unmistakable brightness to each bite. The combination of Japanese and Western cuisine was balanced beautifully, with every plate delivering a sense of thoughtful craftsmanship. Of course, no stay at a lakeside resort would be complete without a visit to the onsen bath. While slightly smaller than the one at Lake Akan, the onsen here is far superior in cleanliness and upkeep. Conveniently, the bath is stocked with towels, so there’s no need to carry your own from the room. The experience is further enhanced by a sauna illuminated with soothing blue light, adding a layer of tranquility to the ritual. The open-air onsen is another highlight. For those who appreciate the purity of nature, the bath even features drinkable Lake Shikotsu water, renowned as one of Japan’s top 100 spring waters. This thoughtful touch, coupled with the stunning views, creates an immersive experience that is equal parts restorative and luxurious.

GGuest UserOne of the best ryokans I have visited in Hokkaido There are 2x 7 feet bed (very comfy), big projector in the living room, and the in room onsen was spacious and clean! Clean and modern rooms with a smart tv The room was overlooking the snow and unfortunately lake view was blocked by the snow. Both dinner and breakfast were of top notch quality (we have tried many and they're usually very average), every dish was delicious and we were very full and satisfied. There was also a free beer to each guest every night, big selection of black teas in the lounge and free inari sushi (which was btw delicious!!!) Definitely 100%% would recommend to anyone that is looking for a last stop before heading to the airport

SSH_10The location is excellent just in the 2f next to the check in counter of domestic flight in CTS airport (Sapporo). You can have different activities in the terminal for domestic flight, you can buy souvenirs, seafood, ice cream in the 2f, eat ramen, sushi, sashimi, curry and other Japanese food in 3f, enjoy movie and spa in the 4f, also buying some anime products and games. However the hotel staff may need more smile.

KKanikmeth Sarasukthe location is 8min walk from JR Chitose Station, guests with heavy luggage may consider calling a taxi. The place is quite antique and come with fews plug outlet. However, the room is spacious and the staff was so nice helping arranging a taxi arrangement to the airport the next day. The morning sunrise view from my room was so beautiful.

TT.PanotWe really love to recommend this hotel if you need a place to stay the night before your flight from Chitose. It is convenient to get to the hotel as it is close to Chitose Station. The hotel shuttle bus service to the airport is very convenient. With so much luggage, it is much better than taking the train. The room is compact as usual, but it is clean and nice. The staff can communicate well in English. They were very kind to let us leave some of our luggage at the hotel for four days before our check-in date. The breakfast is also very good. There are two kinds of breakfast they offer: an international breakfast and a traditional Japanese one. We had both, but I think the traditional Japanese one is nicer. The restaurant is decorated in Japanese style and is served by many grandmas. It made us feel like we were eating a meal made by Mom. Unfortunately, we had very little time in the morning, so we could not enjoy our time in the restaurant enough. There is also a public bath on the 2nd floor, but we did not have a chance to use it.

SSunny Yat LongWonderful onsen hotel. Superb lake view and onsen. Can watch the sunrise in the onsen in the morning. There are also Sakura trees around. Our timing was a bit too early for it to fully bloom so it’s a pity. Hotel employees are very friendly and helpful, with good English. Dinner is very nice. Breakfast is not bad. Note that there is no private shower/bath in the room. But there’s the onsen and bookable private onsen. There is a natural onsen but due to the season the water level was low. Most other guests are Japanese so the overall feeling is a very nice hidden gem. No noisy or touristy feeling. It’s 10 drive away from the tourist centre so it’s a tranquil place. My 60 year old parents are also very satisfied with their first onsen hotel experience. Highly recommend. Will definitely visit again.

AAnonymous UserChecking in was cumbersome as it required video conferencing, lacking the human touch. The room was well-equipped but too tight for four people, with no separation between the kitchen and hall. However, it was clean, and the large screen smart TV was a bonus. The hotel is a long walk from the train station with no nearby shops or restaurants. Security is a concern as there were no staff or passersby around. However, for those seeking an escape from city life, it could be a suitable choice.

AAnonymous UserWe chose to stay at Hotel Wing International Chitose as the hotel provided a free shutter bus drop off at New Chitose Airport. I dropped an email to the hotel directly for early seats reservation. The hotel staff were very responsive to my email & request. You may also reserve the seats at the front desk during check-in. Shutter bus timetable : 6:25/7:10/7:50/8:45/9:40 on first come, first basic. You need to go through the staircases before reaching the hotel front door, but it's not a problem as there's a lane for you to pull your luggage bag up. All the hotel staff are friendly. You may collect the amenities such as toothbrush, paper cups, tea, coffee etc next to front desk. Their laundry room at level 8 are spacious with couch, vending machine, and comic books for reading. Everything is good except the room. The aircond only has heating function and no airflow. We have to off the AC and open the window to let the fresh air in. The smart toilet bowl makes us very stressed. As each flush, the sound is so noisy like a plane taxing for takeoff. I pity the ppl staying below us. I would like to compliment the shutter bus driver. I don't have his name, but he's a senior. He's very friendly and kind, he helped me with my luggage. Thank you very much for your hard work.
