"The location is great, next to two beaches, Honeymoon Bay and Richardsons Bay. There are a lot of crabs on the beach at dusk, which is great for playing with children! The room facilities are average, but considering that you can play with your children until late at night, it is still worth it. If the weather is good, you can drive to the side to watch the stars at night, and you can see the entire Milky Way."

"Hotel location in the mountain forest reserve ． is relatively quiet, the advantage is that you can contact wildlife 0 distance. Driving into the road is the mountain road, it is a bit interesting, it is easy to go in the wrong direction. The room is clean and comfortable, there is a terrace to see the mountains and forests and the distant sea view. There is a telescope configuration, which is very good. 👍"

"Check in was easy and the staff was very friendly. I have stayed in other Big4 camps before that were considerably nicer. The electric bed heaters did not work and the unit smelled very strongly of cleaning product, so bad that we had to leave the windows open all night despite temperatures just above freezing. There are few options near Freycinet national park, but in retrospect I wish that we had paid more to stay at the Lodge within the National Park."

"It was a very good stay. The room was spacious and the surroundings were quiet. Above all, the view of 9 Mile Beach from the balcony was amazing. However, this hotel does not provide slippers or toothbrushes, so please bring your own."

"We were pleasantly surprised by the Swansea motor inn. We booked the property due to its convenient location to Freycinet National Park. We arrived late after going to the local pub (Bark Mill Tavern & Bakery which I highly recommend for food and friendly service) following a day of hiking. I called the reception to let them know and they assured me it wouldn’t be a problem and just to give them a ring when arriving. The room was clean and had all we needed for one night. It had a beautiful view of the ocean with a spacious balcony for morning coffee. We had one of the best coffees of the trip from the wholefoods cafe across the road and there’s a service station right next to it to fill up before heading on our way on our Tassie road trip. "
