"We were very unhappy with the room alocated to us.
We booked a partial sea view room.
There was no sea view unless you stood up and were tall.
The view was blocked by a white permanent stand.
We went to reception to discuss this and were shown a smaller room with a view if you stood in the corner of the room.
We were told the place was fully occupied so they couldn't help us any more.
This wasn't correct as there were still vacancies on the website.
This all left us very disappointed.
On another note the breakfast staff were just lovely offering suggestions to us and other people about what to do locally.
No one at the front desk made any suggestions
Also at the front of our room where you could sit if you wanted to look at a white partition was overgrown with weeds as was some other parts of the resort"
"This was the 2nd time I've stayed here with my partner and we loved it just as much as the first time, the restaurant makes food to die for the lamb shoulder for 2 is highly recommended because the meat falls off the bone and taste like heaven and the customer service is awesome 10/10
We will definitely be back again soon"

"The hotel is great. I booked a one-bedroom room with a sea view. The view and facilities in the room were perfect. The kitchen is big enough, with all the pots and pans available. It takes 5 minutes to walk to the nearby woolworth supermarket to buy some food and eat it yourself when you come back. It is very cost-effective. Red wine glasses and champagne glasses are provided. The bathroom is also very large and spacious. In addition, sitting on the balcony in the evening, blowing the sea breeze and drinking some wine, is full of petty bourgeoisie. I will choose this hotel again next time I come. It takes 3-5 minutes to drive to the pier for going out to sea, and the transportation is extremely convenient."
"Apart from the great location, it feels like a family hotel. The price is not cheap, and the elevator cannot be used. I have to carry my suitcase to the third floor... There is no service awareness at the front desk."
"The hotel is in a great location, close to the beach, restaurants and shops.
Check in was a bit odd, had to go into the pub to get my key, but the room was absolutely beautiful. Very clean and modern, absolutely loved it!!
Checking out was easy, just locked the door and popped the key in the checking out box.
Car park has limited spaces so can be a bit difficult.
But overall we were very happy with the accommodation. "
"A bit disappointed that Trip.com didn’t give you the option to claim NSW vouchers.
Landmark Resort provide excellent customer service, best I had ever experienced. Sam was amazing on our arrival and very helpful. Floors were sticky from soap residue, she came up within 10 minutes to wipe over tiles with clean water. Later that evening, she came up again to help me with the turning on the stove.
Apartment was immaculate and well designed for a small 1 bedroom. Comfortable and modern. Lots of double PowerPoints to plug in your own devices. Beautiful view off the balcony. Excellent fast wifi. Great pool and games room (air hockey with ability to team up with a partner - 4 players, plus other games).
Negatives:
1. Kitchen - No oven. Could add scissors, wooden spoon and smaller sized pan. Strange to have a huge fry pan to cook for 2 people, and on a small stove top. Also would recommend replacing Tefal type plans as they can become a health hazard when old.
Bathroom - Shower head could do with an upgrade to handheld as the fixed one is small, and only wets just below shoulders, plus splashes everywhere. We made good use of the spa bath. Square toilet seats aren’t comfortable.
Iron is very cheap and old. Dirt was coming out of the holes underneath and water kept spilling out of it."
"Great experience overall for a long weekend stay around Nelson Bay. Walking distance to the shops and harbour area. Rooms are huge although outdated and could use some deep clean on some areas, but all appliances and equipment inside the room are functioning well."
"Great location close to marina. Friendly host. Basic but was great had what you needed. free on site parking"
