Overal we really enjoyed our stay here. The room was very clean, spacious and well equiped with everything you will need to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The hostess also helped us with arranging a tour to the hanging bridge and the grottoes.It's about a 19 minute walk to the centre.

A new place near the city wall. Great attention to design and guest experience. Cleanest place I stayed in China. Helpful staff.
It’s quite far from attractions, but it’s easy to walk or cycle within the walls of the city.

The location is not too bad, it is within a cluster of many newly built homestays. I chose this place for its zen design style and it is newly opened, and i read in thr review that there was free coffee provided during breakfast. Therefore i was rather dissappointed when i found out that there is no such thing, coffee is chargeable. I was glad that i brought my own drip coffee to supplement the breakfast. Although my room was eligible for 2 breakfasts, i was only provided with 1 set of breakfast and not offered any replacement for the other breakfast set that i did not take. The room size is just nice for 1 person with luggage. Bathroom+toilet was quite large in comparison to the bedroom. My room overlook the opposite facility, the window can be opened to let in fresh air. There is washing machine+dryer on the ground floor. The girls at the lobby was nice to help me manage my laundry. I was glad that i could use the large table at the lobby for my work. It is an irony that there is a non smoking signboard in the room together with an ashtray....

Rooms are clean and new. Hotel located in the new area inside the Datong city wall. Hotel recommended a local Chinese eatery within 15m walking. Didi about 2 km out of the wall, there’s a famous eatery and very cheap and good food.

Great place to stay. Walking distance of everything within the city wall. Arranged a driver to take me to the Yungang grottoes and Hanging Tempel at a very reasonable price. There is heated floors which was heaven in January. The breakfast is really nice.

Wonderful caring service. The front desk lady is absolutely amazing. The hotel is very clean. Location is inside the wall, but on the edge of the wall. Breakfast is not a large selection, but it is delicious and well-prepared. The room is very nice and stylishly comfortable. Not a trace of cigarette smell is always a plus.

A brand new small hotel built with traditional elements, set in a posh little enclave of similarly attractive houses, we had a great stay after arriving from Beijing. Our room was downstairs but we looked up to koi swimming above us, comfortable bed and quiet, good breakfast and a real espresso, loved it! We came to Datong for the caves but found an exciting city wall, old mosque and temples, gorgeous 9 dragon screen and a rebuilt palace, plus great restaurants and night life. Location a bit far to walk but we got a bicycle to get to the drum tower and back. And the receptionist was exceptionally lovely and helpful, thanks a lot!
