My wife and I stayed at the Ixora from the 7th to 10th April 2025. It was evident this is quite a new hotel. The decor was in excellent condition and it had a definite touch of class. Comfortable room with everything you could expect. We had breakfast every day, but make sure to book and pay the previous day, which is £12.00. Otherwise the price is £15 something. Good choice of food both for breakfast and evening meal. A very enjoyable break away, visiting the local attractions.

I had an incredible stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Snowdonia. The hotel offers stunning views that truly capture the beauty of the surrounding landscape. The staff were exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with any requests. The location is perfect, offering easy access to local attractions while providing a peaceful retreat. The food and drink options were excellent, with a variety of delicious meals available. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing stay in a breathtaking setting.

It’s ok as it has a gym allowing under 18’s so my child could enjoy as well. The room was quite decent and clean. We enjoyed it very much though the price is a little bit high.

My partner and I booked this hotel for our 10th year anniversary, and were met with smiles and great service throughout. It was our first time in Wales together and having a place like this to rest and relax after a long day out was the perfect place. We found their breakfast options great, a massive selection to choose from and affordable too! The best way to start your day. And I loved the fact that breakfast service ended at 10am so you can still have a lie-in. The room was spacious and modern, exactly as described, it also had a shower room and toilet in separate cubicles which if you think about it, makes absolute sense! We asked for the woodland view which we were given, it is a woodland view but right below, you see the bins and such, not ideal but not the worst either. The parking lot had plenty of spaces and was free which is always ideal. If I wished for a place to stay again in Conwy, this would be my go-to!

I booked the deluxe stay for me and my friend to celebrate our 30th birthday. The stay included 2hr spa access, 50 minute treatment, welcome drink at the spa, £25pp dinner allowance, twin room and breakfast. This is the nicest spa me and my friend have been to (and we’ve been to a few). I loved the way me and my friend had the treatment in the same room and the staff were friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast was lush and the room was perfect and clean. We were fully impressed with our stay, we didn’t want it to end. Would HIGHLY recommend this hotel as break away or a stay in Wales, the spa is a must, especially on a nice day.

Positives - the food at dinner (lamb and steak) was lovely, the food at breakfast was average. Staff were nice. Negatives - room was really hot and the air con very noisy, which meant sleep was poor. - waited 20mins to be served at the bar even though it wasn’t busy because bar staff were also taking food orders and making cocktails they didn’t know how to make. - advertised as spa hotel but spa is attached and not part of the package. £25pp to use!

Booked hotel on Secret escapes , hotel was about 7 miles from Conwy , so a bit out the way , there was a bus service to & from but times a bit haphazard & last bus back from Conwy was around 6pm otherwise a £30 taxi ! Hotel was a nice size free car parking , our room was a good size wasn’t to keen on separate toilet , shower arrangement & sink in the room which was separate but everything else was good . We had lagoon view which is a bit misleading as there’s no water there just a massive brown concrete hole . Staff were great especially the manager very nice man who brought us a drink as our anniversary . Breakfast was lovely on both days all in all a lovely couple of days .

I had the most wonderful stay. I chose the hotel because I wanted to find somewhere near colwyn bay,after looking at several hotels, I decided to look a bit further out. The hotel was only 30 minutes from colwyn Bay. I wanted a hotel that once we arrived we didn't need to go anywhere else. I booked a king room and a twin. The twin was a brilliant size ,sharing with my brother. I wanted a bit of space!! The rooms were clean, stylish, and light. The shower was lush. We booked a table for the evening The service and meal were perfect, and there really was a great atmosphere in the bar. There was a lovely snug area where we could just chill with a glass of wine. The area was nice and quiet. Breakfast was just as good good selection of continental and booked. Being a veggie there was lots of choice. The staff 10/10 Would 100% recommend the hotel

Lovely relaxing couple of days spent at this hotel. Staff were friendly & very helpful. Our room was comfortable & immaculate. Breakfast had an excellent choice & was very tasty. Dinner was made with quality ingredients and was delicious. The spa was clean & very relaxing.

Overall we had a lovely experience, staff were exceptional and notably very friendly. The food was very nice and well presented. The reason for the 4 stars and not 5, the rooms were lovely but the beds were far too hard and I feel I would have had a better night sleep sleeping on the floor. We literally had no sleep the first night, brought this up with the lovely lady on reception and she straight away had the cleaners give us an extra duvet so we could put it underneath us for our second night, our second night sleep was bearable although still not ideal. The main tourist attraction outside being the lagoon was completely closed and empty which is a shame, they are hoping to get it back up and running soon.

We stayed here for one night in March 2025 and we were very pleasantly surprised by this fabulous hotel. It’s easy to miss the building on approach and it’s a real shame that the lagoon next to it is out of action but don’t let that put you off! The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room comfortable and the food was amazing. The shower was one of the best I’ve ever had with plenty of powerful hot water. The loo is separate and perhaps not quite as private as some might like (and although the shower has a privacy screen I am informed it doesn’t screen everything out!) We used this as a base to explore Snowdonia and the Conwy coast and will definitely be back as it was perfect for us! Thanks to the team for making our stay perfect

My wife and I have just spent a couple of nights at this hotel for a quick break. It is an ex Hilton hotel ,recently having changed hands and no doubt the new management will have ideas of their own in time but we had such a pleasant stay nonetheless. There are two things that make this hotel . Firstly the staff. I have NEVER stayed anywhere with such pleasant and helpful employees. All had a genuine smile on their faces . Beth on reception, our waiter Brad, the head chef Alex to name but a few epitomised exemplary service. They were all too happy to provide us with advice on how best to spend our time away from the hotel. Secondly, the food. Just superb - the duo of beef bourginon was a dish to behold and Alex took time out from the kitchen to come and chat to us . The spa is great. There is a charge to use it but we found it well worth it and a great way of spending a relaxing couple of hours. Yes, the hotel is unmistakenly corporate and the outward appearance could perhaps be better but don’t let that put you off. The rooms are very comfortable and we would return in a flash.
