Die Eincheckzeit von Trip kommuniziert stimmt nicht mit der realen des Hotels überein, sodass wir nicht vor unserem geplanten Ausflug ins Zimmer kamen. Der Ausblick/ das ganzeUmfeld ist auf eine riesige Baustelle, das sollte vorher kommuniziert werden, das bedeutet Krach, Staub, Unannehmlichkeiten, .... das Hotel ist sehr pingelig in Bezug auf zusätzliche Kaution und weitere Absicherung.
I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding my recent stay at the Hilton Dublin and to request a review of the compensation I received.
Despite the multiple issues we experienced during our stay, I was only compensated with 15,000 Hilton Honors points, which are worth less than CAD $90. When we checked out, the manager informed us that the compensation would be approximately EUR €100. I have since discovered that the amount credited does not reflect this and is instead valued significantly lower, which I find unacceptable.
Below is a summary of the issues we encountered:
The water pressure was extremely low upon check-in.
The air conditioning was not functioning for three consecutive days. I had to report this issue three times daily, and each time it was only temporarily resolved by a system “reset.”
The in-room phone was not working, meaning I had to walk to the front desk each time I needed assistance.
These issues severely impacted the quality of our stay and are not what I would expect from a hotel operating under the Hilton brand. The compensation provided does not reflect the level of inconvenience we experienced, nor does it cover the value of even one night of our stay.
I respectfully request that this matter be reviewed and that a more appropriate adjustment to my Honors account be made.
I booked about a month in advance requesting for a high floor with good view, but sadly when i arrived they said they were fully booked and gave me a room on the 1st floor with train tracks view (and train noise thank God fairly quiet) or literally no view. The photo showed 2 double beds side by side, the the actual corner room i was assigned was with the beds 90deg to each other and with so low ceiling it was castrophobic!! Luckily i only stayed a night.. it was noisy during the day with drilling renovations happening
