Het Outrigger is een geweldige mooie plek. Je loopt zo het strand op en kan heerlijk genieten. Onze dagen in Fort Meyers hebben we rustig an gedaan en genoten van het strand en zwembad. De kamers zijn niet luxueus maar heeft alles wat je nodig moet hebben. Personeel is erg aardig. Alles ziet er netjes en verzorgt uit

My husband and I stayed there from September 18 through September 25. It was hands-down the absolute best beach hotel/facility/resort we have ever stayed at. Very clean, every person who works there was friendly, efficient and helpful, the room was perfect (very clean, had everything we needed, and had a fantastic view of the beach and ocean even though it wasn't beachfront). It has a very laid-back but fun atmosphere that people of all ages seemed to be enjoying. The Tiki Bar and Cafe had both fantastic service and delicious food. All pricing was extremely reasonable as well. I couldn't think of one negative thing that could be said about this paradise!!! Love it and will definitely continue going back!!!!

LONG REVIEW ALERT!!* On May 18th 2022; my husband and I left Connecticut after selling our home and headed south. We really were doing it on a wing and a prayer as we hadn’t found a house yet, despite our best efforts. Our only plan, at that point, was to travel the coast to Fort Myers Beach, staying at beach hotels along the way to rest. All the while virtually viewing houses! As fate would have it, we put an offer in on our house when we hit NYC and it was accepted by the time we hit Ocean City, Maryland. Our next hurtle was figuring out what we, and our college age daughter, were going to do while we waited the 30-45 days until we could close. Our last stop was the Outrigger. We had stayed there last November and loved it so we figured once there, we would figure out our next move. Well, our “next move” wasn’t a “move” after all. We ended up staying at the Outrigger for a grand total of 41 days! Let me just tell you how accommodating the entire front desk staff was, from making sure there was never a gap in our stay, having absolutely everything we needed and just plain being friendly! Special shout-out to Terry, for enduring my morning trips to see if she was able to secure us another day, another week…she was a magician! Thank you again!! Housekeeping was always attentive and so hardworking as was maintenance. The rooms are spacious, and trust me, we stayed in every single room type that they offer! We had 7 room changes, but it was seamless and though the beach front room was our favorite, Al, of the rooms are perfect for what we needed. The grounds were always kept clean and I honestly can not say enough about the beautiful beach front. The resort itself is further from Times Square, which after being there for over a month, I appreciated. It’s close enough to get to whatever you want but far enough away to avoid traffic and crowds. Tiki Bar was always a nice place to grab a drink or a quick bite, very convenient and service was always good. It should also be mentioned that most of Fort Myers Beach is still working short staffed and the Outrigger is no exception, but from great customer service to keeping the resort in perfect condition, even while they were renovating, we never suffered. Of the 4 beach resorts we stayed at on our trip from Connecticut, the Outrigger outshined every single of them! Kudos to this resort! And even though we now live just a few miles away, we will be back

This is a horrible place to stay they treat people bad and they're are very condescending towards customers!!! They Have horrible customer service!! Don't stay there . If you want quality service and nice people this is not the place.

Never stayed before, always drove past heading to Fort Myers beach. Found a great internet special for Father’s Day weekend. It was well worth it. Loved the big deck with the tiki shelters. Plenty of seating and light to play cards and drink some cocktails in the evenings. Ordered breakfast every morning, good selection and wait staff was great and attentive. Plenty of places to sit to watch the sunset out front, even have corn hole to play. It’s somewhat of a walk to get to the water. Glad we brought our beach stroller for our chairs and cooler. But my biggest compliment was the front desk staff. Just the most nicest people working there. Will definitely go back.

Family retreat with five rooms. Poor checking in and out process. Cockroach in one of five rooms. Not kid friendly atmosphere in my opinion. Cleaning service could be better. I would not encourage others to experience what we did this last week.
