"we got the corner sofa room, very spacious with 2 queen beds next to each other, very good with my 2 kids together. location was very nice, we drove and there are a few parking areas behind the hotel which was convinent. but they dont clean the room for you or enter the room at all so its good for insecure guest i guess. towel not changing was a problem for my wife...."
"This time I stayed in a single room. The room is very small and even a slightly larger suitcase cannot be opened flat. Although the room is small, the amenities are provided as much as possible with a variety of styles, even pajamas. It's a pity that there are no simple facial toiletries. The service staff are very polite and patient! Located in the most lively area of Tenjin, it is very convenient to go shopping."
"Self-service check-in and check-out. I didn't see any service staff the whole time, which was a very novel experience.
The room is very large, it is a two-bedroom and two-living room apartment. The split-level design of the living room is a bit confusing. In fact, the size of a normal living room is enough for a large family to live in.
The hygiene is slightly worse than other hotels in Japan, but it is acceptable. Towels and toiletries are provided in sufficient quantities.
There is also a Japanese garden near the downstairs, which is marked on the map. You can go there when you have time.
The disadvantage is that you cannot store your luggage at the self-service check-in. You must leave with your luggage at 11 o'clock, otherwise the door will not open. The luggage storage at Hakata Station is often full, so it is recommended to arrange the itinerary reasonably if you want to play around the surrounding area after checking out."

"The hotel is located 10 minutes walk from Tenjin Station. And there are many restaurants, bars and shops nearby. Local people also like to go there for dinner and drinks too.
We 3 people got a room with a bunk bed. The toilet and bathroom is designed for disabled people in which you may put a wheelchair for shower. The disadvantage is that when we take shower in the bathtub, the water splashes out to make half of the toilet wet. Others are fine. The toothbrush sets can be taken in the counter.
We took a breakfast in the hotel on the final day. Taste ok and the dinner table surrounded by the books is excellent. Many local people are there!"
"Great location, two 7-11 nearby, Hakata train station, is 5mins flat walk. the room is big enough for me as a sole traveler, tick all boxes if you are looking for somewhere clean and convenient to stay."
"The top floor of the hotel has a great view of the hot spring.
Breakfast is delicious but if repeated daily it will be a bit boring.
So if you stay for multiple days in a row be careful not to eat the same breakfast every day.
The hotel has a shuttle bus to the MTR station.
If you take a taxi from the airport to this hotel should not cost about five thousand yen.
The room can have youtube
There is also Netflix
The hotel is very clean nearby two have large supermarkets
There are four or five highly rated restaurants in a residential area five minutes ahead
There is a canteen in the small shopping mall next to the hotel"
"Upon checkin into my room, it was not clean. Toilet reeks of urine smell. Along the corridor of the 7th floor near the lift, there was a bad smell.
I had to request for a change of room.
The decor of the rooms are dated, not modern.
To use the hotel gym, guests have a to pay a few thousand yen. It is a first for me, that a hotel has to charge its guest to use the gym."
"Stayed for 3 nights with 2 kids, the hotel had children amenities provided upon check-in and this made the kids felt welcoming. Hotel is located at around 5-min walk from Hakata Station, yet it is not along the Main Street which feels like enjoying the proximity to train station but with a quiet neighborhood around."
"A slightly aged hotel, but still very functional, spacious and comfortable.
Our plan also included the access to the GRAND CLUB whole day, which provides breakfast, refreshments during the day, and all kinds of wine paired with a good collection of food at night at their cocktail hour. And yes all the food in breakfast and at the cocktail hour were great.
The location is fine, though you do need to travel back to hakata station or tenjin station depending on your itinerary"
"Enjoyed the good breakfast. Service attitude of front desk staffs are not as great and warm as their Osaka branch though."

CConstance YapCroom hotel is a SUPERB 👍🏼hotel! The receptionists were accommodating and helpful, and the room itself was warm and cozy. All of the facilities in the room were kept very clean too. EXTREMELY good locations surrounded with cafe/24hr Aeo supermarket/convinient store/ few minutes walks to Kushida shrine/Canal city mall and many more!
We will definitely will stay in this hotel again : )

GGuest UserGood value for money and great location. The nicest thing about the hotel is the natual onsen and all the complimentary items for their guests like ramen at night, morning coffee/juice/tea, ice-cream, yakult drinks. We used the onsen every night after a long day out. The hotel is right next to the subway station.
The room is not big. No room cleaning without a charge. But clean towels are hang outside the door everyday.

GGuest UserClean and big hotel room. Our family of 5 stayed in a spacious room with 3 large double beds. We can easily open our 3 large suitcases with plenty of space to walk around. Friendly and professional staff. Easy to park downstairs and convenient to retrieve the car. It’s automatic parking, you just drive the car into the elevator with assistance from a staff and it’ll park for you. There’s a Lawson right across from the hotel. Coin laundry with 5 washers and 5 dryers on the 3/F. There’s also an onsen for hotel guests on the 3/F.
DDenna HeryatiWe stayed for 4 nights in residential room which provides kitchen facilities (we only used the kettle) as well as washer/dryer (which we used often and really grateful for this service). We stayed here too about a week ago and hotel provides free luggage storage (for our large suitcase) for our 2nd check in.
Location is excellent with bus terminal and subway station very close by. Also surrounded by department stores, restaurants as well as Yatai.
Reception staff always so attentive; they were also able to book us a taxi to the airport for our morning flight.
Will definitely stay here for my future trips to Fukuoka.
AAnonymous UserExcellent location. Good variety of buffet breakfast items, however lack of insufficient staff for food and utensils replacement and table cleaning. A long queue for entry and getting food. Green tea machines have been broken down for a few days, but no alternative individual tea bag provided. It needs to be improved.

NNattidaOverall condition and the location of the hotel is good. Just 15 mins walk from hakata station. But the wifi is something they need to look into. I couldn't connect to wifi at all during the peak time that I guess a lot of guests connected at the same time.
GGuest UserRoom was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The shower water pressure was excellent. Convenient locations with lots of great restaurant options nearby.
TTabby YipGreat location, right next to the Canal City Mall, less than 10mins. walk from the Hakata Station, won't take long going to/from the airport. A large variety of restaurants and shops around, satisfying every need. Hotel breakfast is a buffet style of both Japanese and Western cuisines, including hot dishes, bakery, fruits + yogurts, rice and soup, as a vegetarian I have less selection but still good enough to fill up my stomach.
Overall it's a pleasant stay👍🏽

MMiyu BirdiePersonal opinion as a female Asian traveler.
Location: 20 mins walk from Hakata station. 4 mins walk to Gion bus stop or canal city bus stop, both go to Hakata station in around 10 mins. Also, 15 mins walk to Kawabata Shopping Arcade and Canal CityHakata. There are not many restaurants nearby, only convenient stores around the area. Better eat before returning to the hotel. There is a MaxValu Express (open for 24 hrs, 2 levels: 1st floor drugsstore and B1 supermarket) 4 mins walk from the hotel. Great option for late night snacks, drinks, daily necessities, and tax-free shopping.
Room: small and a bit old, cleanliness ok, no bath tub only shower stall. Shower water is not hot enough. Very poor sound insulation (recommended to use earplugs when sleepping. Provided on 1st floor of hotel). You can hear almost every single activity happening next door(literally meaning). Light switches far away from bed, which is a bit inconvenient.
Front desk: it is an unmanned hotel. Self check-in via smartphone prior (utilizing the QR code) or via computer on 1st floor. Self check-out via tablet provided inside the room or computer on 1st floor. Using password to enter room. There is a female staff member in the lobby area in the morning if needed help for anything. She doesn't speak much English but is very friendly and willing to help. Also, you can text the hotel staff member for assistance if needed via the room tablet provided. They reply quickly.
Amenities: self-service, self luggage storage, only basic items provided. There is no ice maker and only 1 laundry machine on the 1st floor (always being occupied).
All in all, Pros: though the hotel is unmanned, I find it pretty chill, easy and efficient as long as you figure out how things work (not hard at all, perhaps more accessible for younger visitors). Cons: You really have to lower your expectations for everything else. I personally feel it is more like a hostel than a hotel. But considering it is the Hakata area and with this affortable price, can't murmur.
The average price for hotels in Fukuoka is SAR 719 on weekdays, and SAR 1,081 on weekends (Friday-Saturday).
