Taj Usha Kiran Palace, Gwalior

Recently renovated heritage hotel. Very clean and full of charm. The staff were attentive and welcoming, but sometimes fell a little short of what you would expect from this 5 star chain of hotels. For example, one day we returned after a full day exploring the city and our room had not been cleaned. One evening we ate in the restaurant and ordered two dishes, but only one arrived. One evening we went to 5 o’clock cocktails but there was no bartender in the bar. And the first morning we had breakfast we were told it was buffet only; I asked if there was any a menu and was told no, only to realize later that there was in fact a menu full of delicious options. This hotel has potential to be amazing but it needs to pay attention to the details.

Very delicious food and excellent service. One of the best place for having dinner/lunch with family. There are multiple options for starter, main course and deserts as well.

I had an absolutely amazing time. It was my birthday and the team made it special for me. Special thanks to Bhoi, Vivek, and Rajesh for making my experience wonderful. I got the Indian Ayurvedic and Bhoi did a great job.

Sneha made has been phenomenal in serving us with right cuisines and most hospitable manner. It was a cool experience having great cuisine. It is nice place with historical feel. A must visit if you are in Helios should taste and have a stay and at least a meal here

Rooms aesthetic was too good and staff was very polite especially Soumya was too good to us and really looking forward to visit again

The service was great, Namrata ji helped us with all our queries. We requested a dish which was not on the menu, she was happy to accomodate that for us. Compliments to the chef for the same.
