Good morning. This review is based on two visits one week apart. First visit by myself and second by family I'd recommended. First visit: Monday 1st April 2024. Room location was beautiful, the property is lovely, room itself a 3/5. The toilet bathroom door is semi transparent so doesnt offer much privacy, also not completely walled off cause of the nature of the roof so odour control is minimal. Shower wasn't draining well but there was a tub with a shower so usedthat instead. Cobwebs in the windows. One bedside lamp wasn't working so the room was a little dim. Also not a huge fan of the concrete floor. However in all the location is beautiful , great ambiance and was willing to forgive minor issues. Second visit: Saturday 6th April 2024. First of the room smelt of tar , a s if the beams had just been painted. Fortunately they agreed to switch rooms. Downside to the new room was we could hear occupants from the neighboring room. Dinner was a 3/10 at best. Ordered gango which was black, black veggies, black meat, no idea what assortment of meats there were, very unappetizing and frankly grateful we didn't get sick. Tbone was smothered in sauce. It seems these were leftovers from lunch perhaps, definitely not fresh. Breakfast was good though. No hot water for morning showers by 9am, very dissapointing. The floors are concrete and therefore a little cold and would have appreciated a hot shower to warm up. *Just all round disappointing experience for what was an anniversary visit.*
