Firstly the POSITIVES - The Staff - they are simply great and did whatever they could to make our stay as positive as possible - Secondly the Hotel Cleanliness is what you should expect from a 5 star Hotel - it simply cannot be faulted. Now to the NEGATIVES and there are a good few - It is clear that TUI are reducing their costs across the board but the most damaging to the TUI Brand are these. Firstly Staffing levels - these, and particularly in the Restaurant, are now well below what is needed to run an efficient operation e.g leaving plates uncleared from tables (especially at Breakfast) Secondly Food selection - it is clear to see from the scope and choice of buffet meals has reduced significantly with 'revamping' of ingredients across the board between meals. LASTLY ABD THERE COULD BE MORE - The quality of POOL SIDE FURNITURE is well below that of TUI's local competitors and requires significant financial investment to replace aged and well below par wooden beds etc. The sun umbrellas must be 10+ years old (if not more) and need total replacement. I do have sympathy with the local management who clearly are under significant budget constraints but unless something is done to remedy the situation TUI BLUE as a brand will fall by the wayside.

My wife & I have recently returned from a wonderful 10 day stay in this lovely hotel. The staff are fabulous, from Manos & Katarina in the Pool Bar to the cleaning ladies they are exceptional, friendly, happy in their work and polite. The food was superb, I have a few food intolerances but there was always a wide choice available for me, I especially liked the risotto's. We stayed in 912 Swim Up Room near the Pool Bar, sun in the morning and shade in the very hot afternoon, perfect for us! We rarely visit the same hotel twice but if we return to Crete I would not hesitate to stay here again. A special mention must go to the Tui reps Amy, Charlie & Sophia, good fun and helpful in abundance. Yamas guys, hope to see you all again!

I have never once regretted visiting the spa at Insula Alba Hotel. Professional masseur Snіzhana knows her job and did the one to the highest level. After a few massages I noticed positive changes - my skin became firmer and smoother. The atmosphere in the spa is very pleasant and relaxing.

Had the full spa package, 30 min scrub, 50 min massage and 30 min body and face. It was a very relaxing and good experience. Katerina did a great job working on my back and shoulders, I would thoroughly recommend the spa and you also get access to the sauna and steam room for the remainder of your stay

Great place, great food, great service. The bar staff were superb. Manos is a legend. Everyday he provided fun and entertainment and nothing was too much trouble. In the evening, Kostas was great too. Overall, a great week. Would definitely recommend J & D

Spa Treatment was excellent with Snizhane as the therapist. The deep tissue massage was excellent and would recommend to anyone to anyone visiting. Snizhane was professional and attentive and made the experience relaxing. Overall the hotel itself was brilliant and would recommend. We had a private pool room that got afternoon sun (from around 12-6pm) and this was perfect

If I could rate this hotel 6 stars I would. I have been to many Tui hotels of the same rating and this one has something special! Manos and Kostas at the pool bar are PHENOMENAL and both truly make the holiday - I really really hope they are here next year for my 30th! They create a wonderful atmosphere - wonderful bar drinks, always filling everyone with laughs! The staff are beyond friendly and could do not more for you - I have never experienced such care and passion for jobs. The hotel and facilities are incredibly clean and the rooms are amazing! Mira my room maid was so lovely and wonderful too!

Most of the staff were amazing 👏 food was absolutely delicious, rooms are great quality swim up pools are nice but probably only went in it 3 times, the poole bar is where it is at, all inclusive plenty to drink and lots to watch and see, beautiful views, well lit. Culinarium restaurant was good but its not the highlight of it all the pool bar and the shows some of them were amazing.
