We had a lovely stay but would personally would not say the hotel is 5*. The rooms and location is lovely however, The food in the restaurant gets repetitive and there was no entertainment team through day, which was a real let down. We went to the Italian A la carte during our stay and we expected something special but this was not the case. Would like to say a special thank you to Nick and Marios (at the pool bar) and Anastasia (in the restaurant) who were AMAZING and took care of us exceptionally well.

What a gorgeous place to stay! The cleaners are amazing, efficient and so friendly, always smiling and up for a chat. There is a true sense of family between all the staff. The bar staff were always prompt to see if there was anything we needed especially Marios & Fiona. The area is quiet and peaceful but close by to many excursions. The food is fresh and delicious offering many different options every night. The staff were so attentive & really made our stay stand out from other places we have been!

My Daughter & I arrived extremely late due to flight changes. Hotel was extremely quiet at 2am on a Sunday & lit up beautifully. First impressions were unbelievable, so clean & tidy with an aroma of essential oils. Our suitcase's were taken up to our room by a lovely chap, such great service! FOOD Oh my! Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner, all a feast fit for Kings, Queens & Little ones! Great choices at every sitting, chefs making pancakes fresh on the stove, Greek delights, pizza & even French fries! Not forgetting the puddings! Wow! The cleaners, ground workers, maintenance, receptionists, chefs & waiters are second to none! The bones of the place! It made our holiday, the friendliness & upbeat of the ‘family’ feel to the place. Sat just on the beach front. Very family friendly, lots for the children to do. Our waiter Marios, (although there are many others, I forget all their names:-() he was an excellent host, funny, polite & handsome too! Constantly working hard but always provided good service with a smile 5 stars! Behind the bar, Fiona! Beautiful, helpful, hard working Lady. Always smiling & happy to serve your needs! The people of Crete should be grateful for such a well staffed organisation that feels like home from home!

The most amazing stay at Senseana! We stayed the first week of June for my 21st birthday and it was great. The weather cleared up and was sunny everyday, although we did feel an earthquake haha! Anyway onto the hotel: Firstly, we think his name was ‘Nick’, one of the pool waiter staff. He was superb, always coming over seeing if we wanted drinks at our sunbeds. Special shout out to him thank you! Room: Brilliant. No faults. Clean. Spacious rainfall shower. Iron and hairdryer in room. Partial sea view. Towels changed everyday. Cleaners came everyday. Food: overall good. Breakfast and lunch were better than dinner personally. Although one night was Chinese night! Also reserved the Italian restaurant and this was nice too. Lots of options. Snack bar at waterpark is good too. Evening entertainment: Ok. Pianists and singers each night. Acrobats. If you are looking for nightlife this is not good location. Stay near malia. Bars around the road by hotel, although charged €21 for just 2 drinks so be careful. Supermarket and shops nearby. Things to do: Go to malia one night €30 euros from hotel. Good for kids at hotel playground and waterpark. Beach. Not meant to reserve sunbeds but everyone was.
