It is a calm and quiet place to stay except the first night (I stay 2 nights) because of the room next door, they were very noisy, and I could hear absolutely everything so the first evening was not good.
The second night was better and I could sleep well because I was alone on the ground floor.
Actually, it is a nice place if you want to rest far from the city, indeed all the village restaurants and market in Tai O close at 6 pm so you have to be prepared. So bad that there is no microwave or cooking stuffs to compensate for this situation.
Also the room was not perfectly clean, there are some dirts and hairs on the ground, and food crumbs on the table and TV furniture.
I think this place is okay for one night but not sufficiently equipped for a longer stay.

This place is a guest house located in the peaceful village, no vehicles, no rushing. Before you come, be prepared for the transportation and you have to walk at least 10 mins from the village entrance, and try not to bring big luggage if not necessary, as the rooms are not big enough to place big stuff.
What I'm surprised about this place is that it has amenities and room facilities we need, the only thing they should add more is the umbrella, and complementary bottles of water at least for the first night.

We stopped at Tai O after a day of hiking on the famous Lantau trail. This allowed us to take a break and leave the next day to finish the hike. We arrived late, and left early. We didn't have time to enjoy ourselves.
The instructions for arriving were very clear (received via wechat). Quiet room, perfect for a good night's rest. For dinner after 7 p.m. there is the Heritage Hotel 1km away. Breakfast can be taken in the fishing village.
My contact was very considerate and informed us of all the amenities. Thank you. 🙏
