Hong Kong Hotels with Rooftop Pools

"We did not expect a 4- or 5-star hotel to allow its internet system to remain down for an entire night. This caused a long queue at check-in, and it took us almost two hours to complete the process and be escorted to our room, as the staff were unable to issue our room access card. In addition, we had booked and paid for a room for three guests. While the room did have two large beds, only two sets of amenities were provided. View from room was good though"

"Hotels in Hong Kong are generally quite expensive with small rooms. I opted for this one primarily because its mid-range price point aligned well with my budget. The room itself wasn't small and felt quite spacious. The hotel boasts a good location. It's about a 15-minute walk from Sha Tin MTR station. Alternatively, if you prefer not to walk, several bus routes from Sha Tin station stop directly in front of the hotel, which is just one stop away. The hotel facilities are a bit dated, so don't set your expectations too high; it doesn't even compare to a typical 3-star hotel in mainland China. However, given Hong Kong's prices, this hotel offers pretty good value for money. My room only had a bathtub, no separate shower, which was a bit inconvenient as I usually shower. Interestingly, a smaller room I booked also had a shower. So, I'd recommend contacting the hotel directly when booking to clarify the room type and amenities. The hotel offers pleasant views from the room, overlooking both mountains and a river – truly beautiful and refreshing. Breakfast is served from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM. While the selection isn't extensive, it includes staples like bread, fried noodles, fried vermicelli, sausages, eggs, yogurt porridge, and siumai. Beverages like coffee, tea, and juice are also available. The food was prepared cleanly, and it was sufficient to fill you up. Both check-in and check-out processes were very quick, especially check-out, where you simply drop your room key card into a designated box. I had a relatively long stay in Hong Kong this time. For day trips, I found it very convenient to catch buses directly from the hotel entrance. Bus 81c takes you straight to Tsim Sha Tsui, and if you're heading to Sai Kung, the 299x route is direct. I visited Sai Kung for the first time on this trip to see the sea and islands, and the water was exceptionally clean. I highly recommend taking a bus from the hotel entrance; it's only about a 30-minute ride. New Town Plaza at Sha Tin station also offers a wide range of shops and some excellent dining options. All in all, this hotel provides good value for money."

"We arrived late for our early flight , check in was smooth. Next to the check in counter they have an area for guests to do a quick fixed via the vending machines. Room was compact and equipped with necessary equipment and amenities. Airport Shuttle bus was a great value , bus schedules were frequent Cleanliness is acceptable"

"Honestly, the hotel has a good location near the metro station and bus station around the hotel. Many restaurants and shops the metro go to central station so it's easy to see the attractions of Hong Kong 🇭🇰 👌 but the room clean up every two days and the stuff needs to change their attitudes . I recommend it for anyone deciding to visit Hong Kong 🇭🇰"

"Efficient check in and out. Location is perfect. Just take lift to lobby then it’s connected to a shopping mall with all kind of restaurants and shops. Also just above the MongKok East station. No matter you need to travel to which direction, Hong Kong island or new territories, just very convenient. No time to try the swimming pool this time. The Chinese restaurant at 3/F is good. service is warm. Have discount on food if you are hotel residence. Just the room is a bit dim. Room rate is reasonable . Overall is a nice hotel!"

"This was my first stay, and the location is absolutely excellent, being directly above Hung Hom MTR station – incredibly convenient! I booked an Executive Room wanting a harbor view. During check-in around 3 PM, I requested a king-size bed. The front desk mentioned that a king-size room wasn't ready yet, but twin rooms were available. We expressed our preference for a king-size bed and were willing to wait. To our pleasant surprise, the lovely front desk attendant then offered to arrange a complimentary upgrade to a suite for us. We were incredibly grateful for their exceptional service and efficiency! The room assigned was 18116, just around the corner from the elevator. We were truly delighted the moment we opened the door! It featured a spacious, bright, and impeccably clean living room, a kitchen, and a generously sized bedroom. The harbor view from the window was absolutely stunning! The pillows were a bit soft, so we simply stacked two together. The room was wonderfully quiet, with no noise disturbance whatsoever, allowing us to sleep soundly through the night. We bought bread from Saint Honore Cake Shop on the ground floor and enjoyed some fragrant tea at the dining table in the living room. Watching the blue sky, white clouds, and fishing boats passing by outside the window was incredibly relaxing. When checking out the next day, we conveniently stored our luggage at the front desk. The staff member there was also very helpful and polite. Highly recommended!"

"The room was incredibly spacious and even featured a small living area. The bathroom was also generously sized and came with a bathtub. The bedding was exceptionally comfortable and soft. In line with their eco-friendly approach, disposable toiletries are not provided, so guests should remember to bring their own. The front desk staff were notably polite and welcoming. The hotel's location is fantastic, with a shopping mall conveniently nearby and numerous dining options within easy reach. There's also a swimming pool accessible on the third floor. Additionally, the hotel offers a buffet restaurant. Definitely worth recommending."

"The rooms here are spacious with modern amenities, including a capsule coffee machine and a microwave. The hotel is conveniently located near Shek Mun Station, with plenty of dining options in the vicinity. Shek Mun MTR also offers easy access to West Kowloon Station. It's a quiet retreat despite its bustling surroundings, and MTR access makes getting around a breeze. The front desk staff spoke excellent Mandarin and were very helpful. The price was affordable, and our two-night stay was very comfortable, offering great value for money. Highly satisfied and recommended! It had been a while since I last visited Hong Kong, and during this trip, after exploring for a few days, I found Mandarin widely spoken everywhere. Mobile payments for transport and shopping were also incredibly convenient. Overall, a fantastic experience!"
