I understand that all of this is a safety measure in preparation for the typhoon, but since we were forced to pack into the hotel, I wish they would at least open the pool. I would like the typhoon prevention measures to be commensurate with the room rate.

The view of the room is really bad. The washroom needs renovation. Others above average. Restaurant service, not professional, staff dont know their role and how to take care of customers.

Since I was a child I have wanted to stay at the Peninsula Hotel, after seeing it in many movies and on TV, unfortunately on my many visits to Hong Kong I had not had the chance until now. I was not disappointed, it was a wonderful experience and I can fully understand why it has and deserves its excellent reputation. I was a bit apprehensive before going, whether it may be too up market and snobbish for me, but it was far from this. The staff are truly the most welcoming and friendly staff I have ever met at a hotel and I have travelled a lot. The décor of the hotel is classic and very high quality, your feet sink into the plush carpets and you bounce along as you walk on them. Extremely clean and never once did I smell tobacco or smoke. A special mention for "The Bar" on the first floor, with great, friendly and professional bar staff adding to the special ambience of the small wine and cocktail bar, it adds to the hotel experience.

Great vibe, live music, amazing service, the pool on the 8th floor is one of a kind. If you visit Hong Kong this hotel is a must visit. Even if you do not want to stay, go for a high tea 😀

This was one of my bucket list. High price but you get the well known Peninsula services. Great welcome and luggage handling upon arrival. Had a box of fragile teapot set left with them, handled care with a sticker of fragile sign. Room was not ready while I’m checking but went back later. Rooms are spacious and all the luxuries came in details, i discovered new features (technology embedded to traditional furnitures) along the stay. Great amenities, tea leaves, coffee machine and turn down service. Had friends over to hangover in the afternoon. The place had great privacy (you won’t hear other rooms at all). The bed was comfy too! When I check out the concierge took care of my luggages and wait with me for my Uber. Definitely an experience! Thank you.

This is the oldest Pen hotel, but it’s has the best overall vibe, afternoon tea is top notch, highly recommend!
