The location of the hotel is really good. Walking out is the dreamy hillside, next to the train station, and walking up there is a small town supermarket and some small shops. It is also very close to the first Shandong cable car. Although it is a hotel that is more than 100 years old, the infrastructure is also super good, with everything it should have, and the breakfast is also very good.

Nice mountain view from the room, but the room is not big. The hotel located 10 mins walk from the Grindlewald station and 2 mins walk from the First Bahn to go Grindlewald First. The breakfast is nice but it’s only open at 7am hence it’s quite rush if you have early activity which you have to leave the hotel early e.g to go to Jung frau.

Great breakfast with lots of options and great quality. Room was clean and cozy. Slept very well. Also didn’t hear any noise from neighboring rooms or outside the windows. Would consider coming back again!

The staff are all very friendly and helpful. They are very patient to answer all our questions and assist us to book the ticket to the Jungfraujoch. Breakfast was nice. We have our dinner at their restaurant as well. The food was great, we were very much enjoy it. I love the onion soup. Of course, the waitress also very nice. Our room have the balcony, we have a nice Eiger view with just in front of us. Super!

The Schilthorn view room is great! The terrace faces the snow-capped mountains and dreamy slopes, so beautiful! The bathroom is also very large, and there is an open-air bath below. Although it is not big, it is still fun. I also gave you chocolates before leaving, thank you!

The room has a balcony with a view of the snow-capped mountains. Sitting on the balcony and daydreaming is a real pleasure. Breakfast is served buffet style. It is very pleasant to eat next to the French window while enjoying the scenery. Although there is no kitchen and cooking is not possible, the overall environment is quiet and comfortable, suitable for rest and relaxation.

The room layout is very local. The hotel is in a good location, with beautiful environment and complete facilities. The mini bar in the room is free on the first night, which is a surprise.

It’s about a 10-minute walk from the train station, which is not very far, but it’s a little tired if it rains with a suitcase. It takes only 2 minutes to walk to the First cable car station, which is very convenient. It is worth mentioning that if you choose to include dinner when booking the hotel, it is really super cost-effective ~ delicious and rich, every day I will seriously post menus everywhere, and I am responsible for saying that this is the level of Fine Dining, such a dinner Any restaurant should be above 120 francs per capita. The restaurant environment is also nothing to say, the service quality is very good ~ excellent experience, rich breakfast, worth the price, super recommended. They also gave home-made potato chips when they left. If it is not enough, it may be that the facilities in the room are average~ but it is very clean, the balcony is facing the mountain, beautiful!

From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed and well taken care of. The hotel's commitment to customer satisfaction is evident in every interaction, making the stay truly enjoyable. breakfast was simply delicious! The array of options available was impressive, catering to various tastes and dietary preferences. this hotel left a lasting impression on me. The well-designed interiors, the mesmerizing view (even through the rain), the exceptional service, and the mouthwatering breakfast made my stay truly remarkable. Grindelwald Train Station is less than a minute's walk away. The room is very clean and comfortable. You can open three large suitcases (and put them under the bed frame after opening). The windows in the room are large and a small fan is provided, so you don't have to worry about stuffiness when sleeping in summer. Breakfast is a classic continental breakfast, and the food is replenished very quickly. The staff is constantly walking around clearing the tables and checking the supply. Mainly because I don’t feel too happy eating breakfast while looking at the mountain view! The staff is also very friendly and enthusiastically recommends nearby hiking routes. I will still recommend staying here next time I visit.
