Can Jaume by Ocean Drive

Had a wonderful holiday in one of the villas. Plenty of room for the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 teenagers) Breakfast was the best set up for the day. The pool food was also delicious and generous servings. The pool was fabulous with plenty of beds and shade We had a car but taxis were reasonable, only 10mins from Ibiza town Highly recommend

Welch ein traumhafter Ort! Ideal gelegen nur ca 20 Autominuten vom Flughafen und ca 10 Autominuten von Ibiza Stadt entfernt. Trotz der Nähe zum urbanen Ibiza fühlt man sich im Can Jaume in einer anderen Welt. Mitten in einem großen Orangenhain bietet das Resort 15 Zimmer und separate Villen. Wir hatten ein Superior Zimmer mit sehr schöner Einrichtung, modernem großzügigen Bad und einer eigenen Terrasse mit Blick auf Olivenbäume. Stilsicher modern eingerichtet mit viel warmen Holz, skandinavisch zurückhaltende und Ruhe ausstrahlende Einrichtung im Haupthaus und Restaurant. Schöne Außenbereiche zB für Frühstück mit separaten Raucher und Nichtraucherbereichen. Toll angelegte Poollandschaft mit ausreichender Anzahl an Liegen. Besonders schön fanden wir die balinesischen Sonnenbetten. Foodtruck bietet leichte Gerichte, man sitz dort sehr schön mit den Füßen im feinen Sand, Strandfeeling auch ohne Strand. Abends auf der Terrasse mit einem Glas Wein als Absacker hört man nur die Grillen zierpen und in der Ferne mal einen Hund bellen. Das Frühstück ist optisch und geschmacklich ein Traum. Klein und fein, alles sehr,sehr hochwertig. Eierspeisen a' la carte. Orangensaft wird frisch aus Orangen der eigenen Plantage gepresst. Auch werden verschiedene Gemüsesorten angebaut und verarbeitet. Unglaublich freundliches Personal. Immer mit einem Lächeln unterwegs und super hilfsbereit. Gäste international, keine Partytouristen. Dafür ist das Can Jaume auch nicht geschaffen aber Ibiza Stadt ist nicht weit ! Danke für den super schönen und relaxten Urlaub! Hasta la vista.

It is entirely possible, then, that other people have had a less successful experience at Can Jaume. On the other hand, if this were the case, I would be very surprised. Can Jaume is a small haven, just far enough off any proper roads to be perfectly peaceful, but close enough to those roads to make the journey time very swift to anywhere on the Island. It is 10-15 minutes from the airport, so we tend to take a taxi and have a hire car (organised by the hotel) delivered the next day. We have been coming (on and off) since 2008, gradually moving up in the type of rooms that they offer, and now using the private villas. The peace hasn't altered, but the quality of the hotel has increased quite markedly. I am not sure what happened during the various lock downs, but part of the extensive fruit orchards has been used to place 9 individual villas, each with a jacuzzi on the roof. The only criticism that I would make of the villas is that they don't actually have any proper kitchen facilities. There is a drinks fridge, with plenty of room for your own wine. There is a Nespresso machine. There is a bar surface, but if you want to 'self cater' at all, you will need to borrow the plates and cutlery from main building, and you have no options for cooking at all. That said, the room service food (from the kitchen at Can Arabi) is stunningly good, with no additional 'room service' charge on top of the price. With that one reservation out of the way, I can get on with the praise. The bed is huge and very very comfortable. The bathroom separates the bedroom from the living area and is split into two. One side has the toilet and bidet in their own cubicle, and a wash area with basin, mirror etc. The other side has a massive monsoon shower, and another wash area with basin, mirror and hair drier alongside. Far too many allegedly 4 and 5 star hotels don't actually have a mirror near a socket for the hairdryer. If you are in a villa at Can Jaume, you can leave your hair drier at home. The living area has a sofa which can be turned into a further double bed. I doubt that 2 couples would actually feel that the villa is large enough for 4 people but last year, when my snoring was at its worst, I slept on the sofa bed some nights and it is surprisingly good. There is a large terrace, with table and chairs and sun loungers. Up the outside stairs is the roof terrace, with the jacuzzi. Bliss. Of course, you may prefer one of the studio suites or rooms in the main hotel. It has been along time since we used them, and it would be safest if I leave any updated comments to others- save that we wouldn't be coming back if we hadn't thought them all wonderful. Breakfast is vast. The outside terrace for eating is huge and if, rarely, it has been raining, the inside area is equally sizeable. We didn't eve

After not going away for 3 years we booked a week at Can Arbai, I cannot recommend this hotel enough, perfect boutique hotel, so peaceful and idyllic the staff are super helpful if you require it, or leave you alone if you do not. The rooms were beautiful and so clean, and the breakfast was outstanding. It was exactly what we needed to recoup and came back home feeling so refreshed and relaxed. We will most definitely be coming back next year for a weekend away, thank you for making our first holiday back post covid the most wonderful. so minor but I would like to add that I think you should have facilities to make coffee/tea in your room as would love to have the option to make a coffee and sit on the balcony.

This hotel was lovely. A calm, relaxed oasis on the outer rim of Ibiza old town. It was exactly what i needed, calmness, relaxation, beautiful finishes, delicious food and lovely warm helpful staff. Is a great place to return to after exploring the island, town or partying all night - with amazing energy throughout the property. The staff were very helpful on a problem I had and throughout my stay, accomodating my requests, providing advice on recommendations and helping with taxis. The breakfast was amazing and the pancakes & scrambled eggs available upon request were some of the BEST I've ever had. The room was huge and spacious, with great bathroom. Poolside is relaxing and Dale was very nice in making cocktails & having a chat. Only criticism is that most taxi drivers hadn't heard of it and couldnt find it- doesnt show on google maps properly - they need to fix this. I went to their sister propety Can Arabia a 5 min walk next door, for dinner. Had the most amazing fillet mignon I've eaten in a long time, and chatted with the staff. Would definitely recommend, very sad to leave (actually wish i stayed here instead of moving into town) and will definitely stay again when i return to ibiza!
