"Our experience at Baike Hotel was simply great! The hotel is very very very beautiful, clean, and furnished in the local style. The view from the terrace and from our room was amazing, and very peaceful. The food was also delicious! Plus, Jason and his wife have been extremely friendly and helpful in answering to our questions, helping us and in giving us suggestions on how to tour around the area. Upon our request, Jason also helped us arrange a transfer from the Airport in Guilin to the hotel, a transfer from Ping’An to Dazhai (to do the 15km hike back), and a transfer from the hotel to our next hotel in Yangshuo. I speak some Chinese, but a plus for those foreign tourists who do not speak any Chinese is that Jason speaks a great English, so no need to worry about language barriers at all! Overall, we 100% recommend this hotel! We had a wonderful and unforgettable experience, and should we ever come back to Ping’An, we would definitely come here again!! 🤗💯💯💯"

"The boss is very good. When we went up the mountain, we drove us to the parking lot and sent us to the parking lot when we went down. The luggage helped us mention the hotel. It rained that day, there were not many tourists, the boss helped us upgrade to a family room, the room had a balcony. The scenery outside the window is very good. On the left is the Kowloon Five Tiger Terraces, and on the right is the Seven Stars Banyue Observation Deck. It takes 10 minutes to get on both sides, which is very convenient. There is a billiard table in the hotel and children's toys. Adults and children have a great time. We also ate dinner and lunch in the store. Two large and two small meals were more than 100 yuan. The boss also invited us to drink his home-made rice wine, which was very sweet. Longji terraces are beautiful and the environment is very comfortable. Traveling these days in Yangshuo, Guilin, there are too many people there, crowded everywhere. The last day of the experience in Longji is the best, there are not many people, very quiet. "The hotel is located on the top of Longji Ancient Zhuangzhai Mountain. It is very beautiful to watch the sunrise or the sea of clouds, and standing on the balcony to pull a telephoto, you can take pictures of the terraced fields everywhere. Although there are many B&Bs on the mountain, not many of them are of good quality. I personally feel that this is the only one. The chef at the hotel tastes good dishes, especially the bamboo tube chicken and spring water chicken. I also want to give a thumbs up to the aunt in the hotel. Because of the high location of the hotel, we still need to walk a ladder to reach the mountain. The aunt of the hotel helped us carry our luggage up and down the mountain. I was really moved and thanked. It is recommended that those planning to stay in this hotel should not bring too much luggage. Finally, it is a pity that I did not see the sunrise this time, but I shot a scene where the mountains and clouds are moving, which is also very beautiful. You can watch and share videos and photos."

"The reviews were absolutely spot on: the owner has impeccable taste, is incredibly kind, and truly goes out of their way to accommodate any request. I highly recommend the Sunrise Loft room. The hotel is perfectly situated between Viewing Platforms #1 and #2, giving it an absolutely unbeatable, prime location. Even though there were only two of us, we booked the 4-person loft room, and it was fantastic to lie in bed and watch the rice terraces. Unfortunately, a typhoon brought rain, so we missed the sunrise. However, we were treated to a vast and ethereal sea of clouds. Despite this minor regret, the trip was still incredibly worthwhile. The owner's homemade rice wine is absolutely delicious – cold, sweet, and refreshing. Enjoying it with tasty dishes like bamboo chicken was truly one of life's great pleasures. When we arrived, the owner kindly picked us up from the parking lot. On our departure, we were rushing to Yangshuo, and the owner recommended a driver who was not only charming but also incredibly skilled, navigating the winding mountain roads with impressive ease. This is an incredible place! The hotel is perfectly situated with the best views. The rooms are new, spotlessly clean, and beautifully designed. The staff are incredibly friendly and always ready to assist. The food at the restaurant is absolutely delicious! You can just relax there and soak in the magnificent views.
There's a nearby viewing platform perfect for capturing stunning photos. And a beautiful swimming pool offering panoramic terrace views! Everything here is simply perfect! I highly recommend staying here!

GGuest UserThe B&B is located on the top of the mountain, with floor-to-ceiling glass windows for close viewing of the terraced fields. The distance to the two viewing platforms is very close. The room pictures on the platform are real, with a simple style, integrated with the surrounding natural environment, and more beautiful when you are there. The boss is a local, a kind and simple ethnic minority, and he cooks delicious food. When you chat with him, he will tell you about the local folk customs and tell you where it is more worth visiting. It is a very good accommodation experience.

GGuest UserA family ran hotel with brand new amenities and really great views of the Jinkeng village rice terraces if you book the rooms with views. We only stayed for one night but we really appreciated the warm hospitality from the host family. The food, breakfast and dinner, were both quite good.
Logistically, you have to contact the hotel to pick you up from the entrance of the Jinkeng village (bottom of the cable car) then it’s only a short 5-7 mins drive from there. We called the hotel thru our driver and everything worked out smoothly.
Another highlight is that from this hotel, you can trek for about 40 mins thru the village and rice terrace to get to the highest viewing platform of the Jinkeng village. It was a bit of a workout but the views along the way was really worth it. The owner will send u a detailed guide of how to get there so you won’t get lost.
Overall I would highly recommend for the views and the opportunity to trek a little deeper into the village and terraces and enjoy the tranquility there.

GGuest UserThe homestay in Dongzhai is very distinctive and not commercialized at all. The boss and the proprietress are very good. After dinner at night, it is too supportive. I also invited us to drink tea. When I left the next day, I bought the boss’s house. The air was fresh, quiet and comfortable.

GGuest UserThe views from our room were absolutely stunning! The place was spotlessly clean, and the room's furnishings and facilities were excellent. The plums grown by the owner were incredibly delicious; I took two to try when we left and immediately regretted not buying more to snack on during our drive. The guesthouse also served excellent meals, and the prices were very reasonable. Our family of seven all had a fantastic experience. The guesthouse's location is truly unbeatable; it seems to be the only inn situated closest to the No. 2 Heavenly Ladder viewpoint. We only realized after arriving at Longji that booking an inn in the wrong location can be incredibly inconvenient.

CCarlyMama and I had such a great experience here on our 3-day (2-night) trip to the 龙脊 rice terraces. Cannot recommend these guys enough! They were so friendly from the start and service was AMAZING.
We got quite lucky with our room. We were able to catch the sunrise every morning coming over the “back of the dragon”. Location was great too, being not too far from the 九龙五虎 and 七星半月 observation decks. Aside from the view, the place was clean with the usual amenities. Their home-cooked Guilin specialty meals also made for great dinner. Almost everything was home grown and locally sourced, and oh so tasty!
They were also great with our check-out and send-off, helping us organise a car/driver to our next stop (Yangshou) and a little farewell token that read “ 一生平安” which translates to “a lifetime of peace and safety”. We even picked up some of their monk fruit (羅漢果) and passion fruit (百香果) before we left! Thank you for making us feel so welcome 西窗月!

They proactively helped us with our luggage and even offered convenient pick-up and drop-off services to and from the parking lot. Waking up, we could enjoy the breathtaking 'Seven Stars Accompanying the Moon' scenery directly from our balcony. Dining in the restaurant was also a delightful experience, boasting equally spectacular views. And the breakfast? It was incredibly generous and delicious – truly fantastic!

HHappy SLAbsolutely want to thank everyone on this hotel for the stay! Everyone was so kind, thoughtful and attentive, the room was so special - it was a highlight of my trip.
I had mistaken my transfer to the hotel and the communication was quick to help and solve the issues, speaking with the driver I had (as I’m not that proficient in Chinese). I had a lovely introduction to this family run hotel and the area with the driver who was an Uncle.
At lunch, I was so full and the staff suggested to keep it for dinner which was so considerate. I definitely didn’t want any food wastage - the chicken bamboo was then turned into a soup which was delicious after taking on the rice terraces. The staff were attentive and helpful with question and tips. As I was semi-organised they really helped me feel reassured with my itinerary.
The room was gorgeous, and smelled beautiful from the natural wood. It was coming back to a sauna every time, so relaxing. The decorations in the room were so special.
The rice terraces are 10min away and both Nine Dragon Five Tigers and Seven Stars & Moon is easily accessible.
I’m so happy and grateful for this stay. You won’t regret it.

LLeonie WigleyI had an absolutely wonderful stay here. I went out of season, so I was the one of the only guests for two days, this made if even more special. if you travel during rainy season make sure to have rainboots and rain proof coats etc. The nights and mornings can get very cold so prepare warm clothes. The family helped me from booking a local shuttle bus from Yangshuo to arrive and departing and also picked me up on my day of arrival from the park entrance. The Homestay is quite far up the hills, not very easy to find you need to carpool or ask owners to help with scooter ride, but the views and people make it all the worthwhile. It is close to many hiking trails and view points. The family welcomed me with so much love the room was exactly as it said. Their food and pricing is also very affordable. They family is of the local ethnicity and they gave me an up-close view in their lives and their traditional ways. I tasted their rice wine, chilli paste , traditional tea and bamboo rice and many other delicious foods. The owners and family are very helpful and if you have any questions, or want to know more of need to get to a certain part of the area they are happy to help. This family and their black dog filled my heart with so much love and gratitude. Note for for foreign travelers: They don't speak English, but do not let this scare you if you are a foreigner, translator apps are helpful if you can't understand the language.
Overall, I highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful, tranquil and family-like feeling enjoy the outdoors and nature. I will definitely be going back!

GGuest UserThis is the second time I have come to Longji. I lived on the edge of the Five Tigers in Kowloon last time. I didn’t climb to the mountain much. However, that one is a mountain view, that is, the room does not have terraces. Therefore, this time I want to say that I will try it in Ping'an Village. This should be an old hotel, but the sanitary landscape is first-class. Although unlike the Kowloon Five Tigers, you can take the shuttle bus to the hotel entrance, but this one will only take two minutes to get off the bus. The hotel’s food is cooked by the proprietress. The hotel’s pick-up service is the boss’s own responsibility. The bed linen and bath towels are very clean and the water is very hot. The large balcony is even more direct to the terraces, the price is super high, it is recommended. Figure 1 and 2 are taken from the balcony, super beautiful. . By the way, there are many shops on the Kowloon Five Tigers that borrow folk costumes, a set of 20 yuan, really, come here, it is still very good to borrow a set of photos.

JJulieHad an incredible stay here! The views are stunning (probably one of the best out of all the other accommodations nearby), the room was clean and the service was friendly. It's a family owned business and everyone is lovely. If you're taking a bus, it won't drop you all the way to the hotel but if you give the hotel a call, someone can come pick you up from the bus stop. I had a bit of a miscommunication with my previous hotel who arranged a coach for us that dropped us off at a very far away drop off point and someone still came and picked us up from there with no complaints (and did not charge us for it)!! We were also dropped back off at the bus stop on the day we left. No one spoke much English which made it a little harder, but we got by with a translator app. There are quite a few stairs to go up to get to the hotel which isn't great if you have lots of heavy luggage so I'd recommend packing lightly if possible. Having said that, if you have average fitness, you should be fine getting up and down the stairs, the trek is not too long. The views are definitely worth it! Would stay again for sure.
