Later, when I checked out, I asked the front desk to print out the bill to figure out how they calculated the breakfast. The best part about this hotel is the view! We had an ocean view room and woke up a few yards off the water. The service here was great. The front desk was very friendly and had great recommendations for local food options. The amenities were helpful especially the dishes so we could prepare basic meals so we didn't have to eat out every meal. The room did have some mold in the shower and on the back of the bathroom door otherwise the room was clean.

It was nice to be right next to Hilo Airport. There is no elevator in the hotel, so it can be a bit difficult to move luggage. The scenery is nice, but the room condition is not very good.

Breakfast is delicious. We did not have the opportunity to have dinner. It is said that it is their chef’s no-menu dinner.
