Downtown offers a multitude of great restaurants, Franklin and Marshall is right down the street and Amish farms are close by. We are in the well respected “Chestnut Hill” neighborhood, which makes it an easy stroll downtown for some great music or delicious food. Minutes away by car are Amish farmlands, horse and buggies, outlets, fresh produce, Sight and Sound, live music venues, amazing restaurants, Central Market, American Music Theater and Dutch Wonderland. Horse and buggies driven by our beloved Amish are all over Lancaster County and our home offers the best of comfort nestled in the heart of downtown Lancaster on a tree-lined street. Fun fact: the log cabin that's a few home's down on the same block is the city's oldest home that was built in the 1700's. Enjoy a cup of coffee outside on the patio in the private, fenced in yard. The backyard is an oasis to enjoy the beautiful weather and hear the "buzz" of the city. Bring one (or two!) complimentary games outside to play with friends and family.Cook a meal in the brand new full size kitchen. Brand new kitchen appliances are available for guests to enjoy including a refrigerator/freezer, stove, oven, microwave and dishwasher. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, plates, dishes, flatware, cups, wine glasses, wine opener, etc. There is seating for six at the large kitchen island.Love coffee? We provide guests with two coffee makers including a drip coffee maker and a Keurig-style coffee maker. Complimentary coffee pods, creamer pods, tea and coffee filters are provided.After a long day, enjoy a shower in the bathrooms with contemporary marble tile and fixtures. We provide pillows, quilts, and sheet sets for all beds including the living room sofa sleepers. This home is a city home and due to the nature of the location, guests may hear city noises from time to time. We include a sound machine in each bedroom if you are a light sleeper. Free street parking is available outside of the home and there isn't a dedicated driveway for your car. Street parking is first come, first serve which is typical for this area. The good news is that itMy family and I are big fans of Lancaster City and have stayed in this home many times with our young kids. We enjoy the central location of the home in addition to the modern, elevated interior design. This beautifully renovated, 1800s era, 4 bedroom home features all the comforts of home, with a full kitchen, washer and dryer, small fenced backyard, and lots of living space.The first floor has an open concept, with the foyer/living room, dining room and kitchen all flowing together. There is also a half bath and the laundry facilities on the first floor.The second floor consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 of which each have a queen bed and the third has 2 twin beds. Also on the second floor is a full bath.The third floor is a large loft space with a full bed, a dresser for storage, and an air mattress and blankets for additional sleeping room for larger groups/families.PLEASE NOTE: the third floor is only accessible through the master bedroom.We do not have off street parking here, however, there is free street parking and the N. Queen Street parking garage is several hundred feet away so that's a great option if finding a spot on the street is a problem.Our place is close to Central Market, Fulton Theater, Lancaster General Hospital, Prince Street Cafe, and so much more.
