Food,food,food, chef needs to consider ethics. Stayed here for 3 nights and overall the food was disappointing for a 4 star hotel. Worst scenario was when my wife ordered the cauliflower main which should have come with cauliflower purée, koffman fries, dukka and spring onion. The plate arrived with no purée, no dukka or spring onion and included mash potatoes which wasn't on the plate description!!! I pointed this out to the waitress who went back to the chef(we asked not to take the plate with her) she subsequently returned, saying that the purée was "under" the cauliflower which it wasn't and we showed it to the server and the manager who both agreed. They came back with the dukka, spring onion and ...... wait for it..... more mash potatoes and then saying there wasn't any purée. The manager provided a refund of our mains £56 but the issue here is not money it's about the integrity of a chef trying to pull the wool over s customers eyes. In relation to breakfast, there is no point in presenting a plate that is hot when the food is cold, full breakfast was like this as were eggs Benedict. The Benedict hollandaise is obviously from a packet and lacked any texture or taste. Sorry I am just being honest based on our experience. The ribeye was excellent though 👏
