Confirmed Booking Cancelled – Shifting Excuses and No Accountability I made a confirmed reservation through Le Colonial’s website for December 2025 for 3 nights with my family, and received a booking confirmation email. I reached out proactively to understand a few details about the property. It was then that they claimed they couldn’t find my reservation at all. Then, after I followed up, they changed the story — saying it was due to a system glitch. Finally, they settled on blaming my card, which was never charged and is fully enabled for online payments. What’s most troubling is this: what if I hadn’t proactively reached out to confirm? Would I have arrived with my family in December only to be told there was no booking? They refused to honor the original rate and instead offered a 15% promo code — conveniently only applicable if I rebooked at their new, higher prices. It all feels like a cover-up for the fact that their system quoted a price they didn’t want to honor. Disorganized, evasive, and disappointing. I expected much better.
