This was our first accommodation after arriving in India and what a lovely way to start our holiday The place was charming and our room delightful. The staff were so attentive to our needs. Every step was taken to discourage biting insects. Citronella repellents plugged into sockets, nets and burning citronella outside. The food was excellent and freshly prepared. We took great pleasure in using the pool and relaxing on our traditional balcony. We particularly liked the handmade soap, shampoo and conditioner provided. Fascinating reading and seeing pictures of how the house was renovated We also highly recommend the Kathikali performance nearby.

Secret Garden is beautiful butik hotel every room is different and has its own name like romantic svite. Which is big and beautiful room. The little pool gives the garden a porch look always clean and fresh waters. The food and the service is very good. Joga class every day at 8 o’clock

We absolutely loved the Secret Garden Hotel - as everyone has said, a peaceful oasis in Fort Kochi. The whole vibe of the place was lovely and the breakfasts were particularly good. We enjoyed lazing by the pool after a mornings sightseeing and there were good restaurants close by (we enjoyed both Fort Paragon and the Seagull). We stayed in the Family Suite and the Temple Suite both of which were great but a special shout out to the Family Suite and its amazing balcony.

A hidden gem of a hotel set in a wonderful garden with lovely swimming pool. Clean and comfortable rooms with a/c and ceiling fans. Beds also have mosquito nets. Lovely helpful staff. Good buffet breakfast that included eggs of your choice. Dedicated yoga space with superb yoga teacher.

This is a fabulous hotel in a quiet neighbourhood of Kochi but still very well located within walking distance of all of the main sights. The pool and garden were a real bonus and the wonderful staff made us feel welcome and could not have done any more to assist us. The food at breakfast and for the evening meals was stupendous.

The secret garden hotel is a little spot of serenity in an otherwise bustling town. Sunday was an excellent host, providing delicious food and great service always with a smile. We were greeted with fresh watermelon juices and had masala chais and omelettes every morning. The pool is also a perfect temperature. Thank you!

Great stay at Secret Garden. Felt like an oasis in amongst the city! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, the room was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Great location too! They also offer yoga in the mornings in the garden.

One of the nicest small hotels I have been to with my family. Extremly friendly staff. Very quiet and large clean rooms. Good breakfast with fresh juices. Would certaily come again. All Cochi can be done from there by walking. No need for a car - maybe a tuc tuc a to get to jewish town.
