Very helpful staff… they were able to help me arrange for hassle free transportation… amnesties in the bathroom were a bit rundown but it seems to be the norm here on the island

We loved the hotel, great food, friendly staff and a great view

We booked a seaview bungalow for 5 nights, and wow what a seaview it was from Bungalow 2 which is raised slightly and right on the beachfront. Lovely balcony with chairs and a table or you can just lie in bed and look at the sea or watch the amazing sunsets. Just note there are a lot of steps down to this bungalow so not suitable for young children, pushchairs or those who are unsteady on their feet. The resort is very non commercial and has a very laid back vibe with a rustic feel, but has all the comforts you need plus little extras. The a la carte breakfast is served until 5pm so great for long lie-ins and they will bring meals or drinks to your room at no extra charge. We had some lovely evening meals in the restaurant too. The pool though not huge is lovely with great views. A few more sunbeds would be good. The motorbike hire directly outside was really useful. The staff are amazing and the resident cats are as welcoming! We loved everything about our stay. Request Room 2 you will not be disappointed.

If I could give Zama Resort 10 stars out of 5 I would. Just the most perfect idyllic little coastal resort with stunning views, the kindest most welcoming staff- and the rooms, just wow. It’s really the small touches that count, fruit on arrival, the softest towels, diffuser, insect repellant etc- all makes a tired traveller relax and settle in. We stayed here as a couple for 3 x nights at the end of our 2 week trip to Thailand visiting the west coast and diving in koh tao, and Zama resort was the best place we stayed by far. 10 stars- please keep what you’re doing Zama, we’ll be back!

Staff molto gentile!

Wir waren über die Weihnachtszeit 2021 im Zama Resort und hatten zunächst nur ein paar Tage eingeplant, allerdings hat es uns so gut gefallen, dass wir unseren Aufenthalt 2 x verlängert hatten. Wir wohnten in einem sehr sauberen Bungalow (tägliche Reinigung & Handtuchwechsel) mit seitlichem Meerblick und hatten jeden Abend einen außergewöhnlichen Sonnenuntergang, der sowohl von der Terrasse am Pool als auch aus dem Zimmer mit einer Fensterfront über die gesamte Breite bewundert werden konnte. Romantik pur! Die Eigentümer der Anlage, Wee aus Bangkok & Jan aus der Schweiz, hatten uns sehr nett über die Freizeitmöglichkeiten informiert und schon bald hatten wir selbst gemachten Kokosjoghurt in unserem Müsli, ein sehr schönes Kaffee, eine außergewöhnliche Herbal Steam Sauna, etc. in unseren Tagesablauf integriert. Wee hatte uns sehr nett die thailändische Küche aus dem eigenen Restaurant näher gebracht und uns neue Gerichte auf der Karte testen & bewerten lassen. Die Küche ist sehr gut, u.A. da Wee's Mutter über die authentische Zubereitung der Speisen wacht. Jan ist ein passionierter Fischer und er kennt sich gut aus. Dank seinem Rat wissen wir nun auch, dass man nicht immer den Fisch verkauft bekommt, der beworben wird. Der kleine Teich am Eingang verfügt über eine Auswahl an exotischen Fischen und Rochen, auch gibt es 2 Katzen. Alles in allem ist das Resort sehr liebevoll gestaltet und alle Mitarbeiter sind unaufdringlich bemüht, dass man sich dort sehr wohl fühlt. Wir kommen sicher wieder zurück, denn es war wirklich ein außergewöhnlicher schöner Aufenthalt. Silke & Christoph

The staff was Beyond Amazing. There are not enough words that exist to say enough about how amazing the staff is. They are all so very helpful and friendly and make you feel very welcome at the property. I would recommend this place a hundred times based on this, alone! The location at not bad, just every so slightly out of reach of things if you don't have a bike to get around. The ambience of the pool and the lounge/dining area is very cozy and quite a lovely atmosphere. The view of the sunset over the gulf is unbeatable! The bungalows are comfy, but a little rough around the edges. Still acceptable though. The local kitties will come and visit you on your lanai nightly to keep you make sure you are not lonely ☺️. I would absolutely stay here again. Thank you, again, so much to the staff. You really make this place very special!

What an amazing experience! A great team who went above and beyond; nothing was too much trouble. A beautiful view and a beautiful place. We stayed in a bungalow right by the sea; waking up with this view is just extraordinary. Many thanks to all for these so nice moments.

Excellent customer service was the best we experienced during our Thailand holiday the whole 3 weeks we were travelling . The grounds men then house keeping waiters /waitress reception . Fantastic the team could not look after u anymore if they tried !!!!!!

We stayed 9 days at Zama resort and we stayed in the sea view room. The room is super quiet, right on the sea and you have an amazing view of the sunset right from your terrace. The breakfast is served all day and what you want is prepared at the moment! The service is outstanding, everything is thought of! (They provide beach towels, mosquito spry and coil, bike rental service through a neighbour company at 200BHT a day, taxi service...) For cat lovers: they have two sweet cats always up for cuddles and play!

Pleasent stay The hotel and atmosphere was nice. The bungalow itself was quite nice, but sound insulation was lousy. The partial sea view was a joke because there are palm leaves hiding the view. In the hotel area there are many steps between the bungalows and the restaurant and pool area. Steps are higher than European standard. Service in the restaurant was very good and food was tasty and reasonable prices! Also breakfast was extremely good, you can order what you like. It's possible to walk to the Secret Beach, but there are few steep hills between. Haad Yao beach can be easily reached by taxi just waving it in the street of the hotel (400 baths for 2 persons one way).
