Lovely resort. Super cosy room with the comfiest bed of our trip, fridge & waters, nice bathroom etc. Nice welcome drink & nice buffet breakfast, egg station was good, would have been better if the other food was warm. Nice pool on the beach. Nice to have a gym but it is very very basic. Unfortunately, we paid for a deluxe room with a jacuzzi on the balcony which we could not get any hot water out of and the staff were unable to help, I have also emailed and recieved no response.

Nice place for one or two knights, the rooms was not clean ( old tawels of last visiter) not clean at all.. Nice breakfast. Beautiful garden and beach.

酒店的沙灘很細 早餐的西瓜 菠蘿海帶湯特別好吃。就是有幾衹貓 小孩昨晚被貓抓了一下手臂劃破皮有點血痕。今天去打疫苗挺貴的 是什麼國際醫院花了六七百 語言不通 酒店要我們自己打車去醫院，也不想去理賠了這裏貓狗特別多

This excellent hotel is not in the middle of the great action, but therefore quiet and beautiful. There are restaurants and a seven eleven in walking distance, as is a scooter rental and laundry. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean, spacious, comfortable and with a lot of lovely details. We loved jumping in the pool straight out of our room! Unfortunately you can only swim at the beach at high tide but it is nice to sit and enjoy the sun and the second swimming-pool. The restaurant is basic for breakfast, snacks or a meal. The only downside might be the planes from the airport, but we just ignored them.

Positives: Three swimming pools that were nicely designed and clean especially the pool with the ocean view. The bed was comfortable. The A/C worked well. The garden themed walkways were well-designed with koi ponds. Coffee in the room. Overall, a decent value. Negatives: The resort feels dated. The koi ponds all were probably really nice when resort opened but were now all murky water. Our room’s exterior windows needed to be cleaned. Walkway to room’s building could have used some landscaping. No real view; from our room at least. Buffet breakfast was NOT good, and the coffee was awful. Location had some walkable places like a good fancy restaurant at another resort and a 7-11 that were not too far away, but in general, the location was not the best. Not next to many restaurants, bars, etc. so you probably want to rent a scooter. The beach had jagged rocks and was located near a boat harbor entrance so not really swimmable at least no one swam while we were there. Another reason to rent a car or scooter is to go to the swimming beaches.

As other reviewers have noted about the sunset, it is a great location for that. The facility has everything you expect from a budget resort but it’s clearly past its prime. The sun loungers are all stained and grubby. The pool bar is used to store an empty fridge. The staff are all polite but this is normal for all of Thailand. The rooms are adequate but in my case the shower rail holding the soap and shampoo slipped out of the wall with both plastic bottles smashing on the tiles. On checkout they had the cheek to try and charge me for this. Of course I didn’t pay but it shows the level of care they have for this aging property that they try and blame guests for its failing state. It’s a shame as it has so much potential if some money were put into it by a new owner.

Deluxe Room (1 nuit) : Chambre immense, propre et élégamment décorée. La salle de bain est spacieuse avec un grand miroir, une belle vasque et une douche à la fois classique et "pluie" avec une bonne pression (très pratique pour les cheveux longs !). Gros plus : le balcon avec jacuzzi privé et canapé extérieur, parfait pour une soirée détente. Chambre double standard (2 nuits) : Chambre tout à fait correcte avec une déco sympa. Salle de bain un peu petite mais bien entretenue. Le manque de balcon est regrettable, surtout pour faire sécher les affaires de plage. L’hôtel en lui-même est magnifique, avec de nombreux espaces décorés de coquillages et de frangipaniers, ajoutant beaucoup de charme. Le restaurant sur la plage propose de bons plats et cocktails. La plage privée est agréable avec une piscine donnant directement sur la mer et quelques transats. Possibilité d’activités nautiques. Le personnel est aux petits soins et retient même les commandes des habitués, ce qui ajoute une touche appréciable. Seul inconvénient : l’emplacement un peu excentré, nécessitant un scooter pour accéder aux zones touristiques et aux restaurants. Petit bonus : un salon de tatouage partenaire de l’hôtel est juste à côté, idéal pour repartir avec un souvenir de Thaïlande !

Wonderful stay highly recommended and the staff were lovely

Leaving today for another island, and overall enjoyed our stay here. Staff are friendly, and on arrival always happy to help. Food for breakfast is interesting (let’s leave it there) Drinks from the beach bar are good and you have a good view too. Rooms are quite big but dated, too much dark wood, jacuzzi bath on balcony didn’t work properly and therefore only tried the once. Cleaning ladies are great very thorough and efficient. Shower is complicated and once your eventually crack the code to use it you need to crack it again to turn it off. (Good luck) Would I come back to Deva Beach probably not but have enjoyed it.

Looks nothing like the pictures The resort is nothing like on the pictures. From the picture it looks like this high end “instagram-esque” luxury resort but in reality it’s blocks of run down buildings surrounded by not that well kept vegetation. We had a direct pool access room but the pool looks of feel nothing like the pictures. They have removed all the wooden flooring exposing dirty concrete, and the area was very enclosed, making it feel like some dark dank concrete alley with a pool rather than an open resort with a nice pool. Also the hotel was impossible to get in touch with. Luckily we only stayed 2 days but had we booked our entire vacation here I think we would have started to cry.. it was not die hard awful, but it was just not good, like at all. It’s a 2 star hotel in reality.
