First & foremost… The breathtaking views, are worth the upgrade for the seafront view rooms. (We stayed in room 1712) Rooms are stylish and have all the essentials you need, but they aren't the biggest. However, we mostly used for sleeping and getting ready, so it didn't bother us. We paid for half board, and enjoy all of the meals served in the main restaurant, always something for us to eat and both agree it was the best tasting cooked all inclusive breakfast that we've had abroad. The A La Carte restaurants are definitely worth a visit to, book as soon as you can as we missed out on one, part due to being fully booked when we enquired halfway through our stay. For our lunches, we mostly brought from the pool restaurant, but most of these meals were big enough for two to share, in particular The Club Sandwich, it's HUGE. All of the staff were friendly & welcoming, with smiling faces and professionalism, in particular Christina & George! ❤️ The biggest downside for us, was the wind that was relentless throughout the week, although some days calmer than others. Obviously nothing to do with the hotel, just bare that in mind due to their location. We were still able to sunbathe, and we fully understand it's not something the resort can control, but it's the downside to being on an island edge, nothing to protect you. Again, due to its cliff/hillside location, there are a lot of steps, so it is harder for those with mobility issues or even pushchairs - there are hills but slightly longer routes between hotels & restaurants. We aren't normally people that get involved in hotel entertainment, however, several evenings we spent enjoying the atmosphere & entertainment. They had singers, traditional Greek dancing and even belly dancers. On the whole, we had a great time and would happily recommend it to our family and friends 🫶🏽

I honestly don’t even know where to start… Our stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing. From the very beginning, the staff made a huge impression on us – everyone was incredibly kind, helpful, always smiling, and ready to assist or simply make our day better. The food was delicious, varied, and there was always a wide selection to choose from. The pools were very well maintained and clean, and of course, the infinity pool with its breathtaking view of the ocean was just unforgettable. In the evenings, our stay was made even more special with live music performances and incredible dance shows – truly spectacular. Thank you so much for an unforgettable stay. We already miss everything about it…

Manager Anastasia van de Spa geeft met haar team de klanten heel veel persoonlijke aandacht. Je wordt in de watten gelegd door hen. Dit geeft een extra fijn gevoel. Ook de gekozen massage voldeed helemaal aan de verwachtingen. Zeer proffesioneel en wederom uiterst klantvriendelijk. Een bezoek aan deze Spa is dus zeer de moeite waard.

Positives:- Beautiful setting. Attractive, modern, clean hotel. Friendly staff Good standard of food. Negatives:- Failed to resolve problems that were reported such as unreliable plug on hairdryer so had to wiggle plug to get it to work then within minutes you’d have to wiggle it again, room keycard didn’t work so was given 1 traditional key to share with the other room guest for 2 weeks which was very inconvenient, hand sanitiser dispenser in gym was empty and never replenished, broken items in gym left unrepaired. Inconsistent choice of drinks at bars -sometimes had skimmed milk, sometimes had decaf, sometimes had honey. Would have to visit their 4 different bars each day to find out which had the drink I wanted. I wouldn’t expect that from a 5 star rated hotel.

Not a five star hotel, closer to three Stars. The pool area was great. The service there was mediocre except for Harris who was top notch. The buffet restaurant had a limited selection and was very crowded at dinner. We had to wait 25-30 minutes for drinks repeatedly. Restaurant too small for the number of customers. Specialty restaurants were much better. There were also problems with: making drinks, room cards, cleaning of the toilets in the pool area, and room towels. I don't know if the lack of service was because we traveled at the beginning of the season. I'm not asking for anything impossible, just the basic things didn't work.

Very nice hotel, majority of staff friendly and helpful, good rooms, amazing infinity pool. Beach area very tired and overlooked, needs new walkway, umbrellas and sunbeds, a total revamp. Main bar and evening area very open and if windy like a wind tunnel so can be quite chilly in the evenings, plus insufficient seating for the size of the hotel. Main restaurant not intimate, quite cafe feel rather than restaurant unless you manage to get seated in the slightly upper small middle section. Overall enjoyed our stay but lacking certain touches expected of a 5 star hotel.

Mutter-Tochter-Urlaub. Neben der sehr gepflegten Anlage waren die Wellnessbehandlungen bei Markella das Highlight. Die Aryuveda Massagen bei ihr waren einmalig und sind absolut empfehlenswert an dieser Stelle noch einmal ein ganz großes Dankeschön

Cadre incroyable Très bon séjour, super accueil de la part du personnel, très bon buffet et petit déjeuner. L’hôtel est incroyable avec son immense piscine et sa plage privée. Dommage que le spa ne soit pas inclus. Sinon le cadre est magnifique, pas très loin en voiture du centre et de thermal Beach.

Vacanza perfetta! Silvia ha reso speciale ogni giornata per i nostri bimbi. Struttura bellissima e staff molto professionale. Consiglio vivamente a tutti coloro voglio trascorrere dei giorni speciali in un paesaggio magnifico!!

Have just returned from 10 days at the above hotel. The hotel it's self was very nice however the big let down was the service especially in the main restaurant. Having said that things did start to improve towards the end of our stay as they employed more staff but still not great. We booked a premium seafront room which had fantastic views over the very large infinity pool and the sea. We booked all inclusive option but this is not all inclusive. On arrival we had 2 bottles of water in the fridge in our room. It was never replenished and we had to buy bottles of water from the mini market on site to make tea and coffee in the room. The room did have a nice coffee machine located in the wardrobe which was very noisy and you had to hold the shelf as all the cups and teaspoons rattled. The room it's self was vey clean but quite basic, bed and bedding very comfortable. Our cleaner Anna was excellent and cleaned the room daily. I appreciate the all inclusive states local wines beers, soft drinks etc. However they did have a bar list but not everything was all inclusive. The only cocktails available were the simple ones that used cheap syrups rather than the real thing. If you wanted a proper cocktail like a Negroni or an Old Fashioned then you had to pay for them. The local red wine was not great but the white wine and rose were acceptable. As I said at the start of this review the service in the main restaurant was not great. On 2 nights we arrived to find the doors shut at 8 o clock and were told the restaurant was full and to come back in half an hour. The restaurant was not full they just did not have enough staff to clear the tables, reset them and serve drinks. Often you would have to sit at a table and then they would set the table. You had to wait a very long time to get a glass of water, beer or wine. The choice of food was ok but not as good as other restaurants and hotels I have visited. The snack bar down by the main pool was open most of the day and was a small self service affair but the staff were very good in getting drinks etc. We did eat in the 2 Al A Carte options the Asian restaurant and the Mediterranean. Both served up very good food and the service was excellent. There are 3 pools available 1 very large infinity pool, another quieter pool near the main bar and the childrens pool and play area which was very good. The infinity pool was quite refreshing to say the least. The bar staff at this pool we excellent and waiter service around the pool as well. Also a selection of different sunbeds 3 in total. Umbrellas were plentiful and they are bolted into the tiles around the pool. There is also a beach which is accessed via a very steep path and steps. Not for the faint hearted when going back up. The beach is all pebbles and stones so sea shoes are a must. the beds on the beach very comfortable and there was a bar on the beach run by Alinna who was excellent. Also some shaded seating areas. Very relaxing down on the beach. I tho

We have just spent a week at the Michelangelo Hotel. The pool areas and views across the sea to Turkey are spectacular. We stayed on an All Inclusive basis for 7 days. There is a main restaurant called David’s Hall restaurant which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The selection in there is very good. We always found something that we liked. There are two speciality restaurants, a Mediterranean with amazing views, and an Asian restaurant called Soy. If you stay 7 days you’re able to eat on an all inclusive basis once a week at each restaurant. I believe that you can book, and pay, if you wish to eat there more often. The food at these restaurants and the service was excellent. There is a bus service that runs from just outside the hotel and takes you into Kos. We paid on the journey into Kos but for some reason the return was free. It was about €1.5 per person. It worked well, and was on time. It took about 25 mins to reach Kos. We found Kos Old Town to be brilliant. We loved the winding streets and shops and bars. We enjoyed a Gyros at a roof top restaurant overlooking Kos. Highly recommend! We also booked a catamaran ferry from Kos to Bodrum. It cost approximately €68 for two people inc mini bus transfers to and from the hotel. Remember to take your passports! It’s takes quite a while at each end with customs etc. Bodrum was great. We’d definitely go back. Learn how to haggle before you go! We booked the lowest grade room at the hotel, which was more than adequate. It had a safe and fridge but just to note you only get water in the fridge on arrival after that you pay if you want bottled water to have in the room. As mentioned before, the pools are spectacular but very cold! They certainly cool you down. Our overall experience has been very good and a big thank you to all of the staff and the guest experience manager who go out of their way to make you feel welcome.

Die Unterkunft bietet alles in allem die Möglichkeit einen sehr entspannten und angenehmen Urlaub zu verbringen. Der Pool ist wirklichein schöner Ort zum relaxen mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht. Die Zimmer sind so wie beschrieben, auch dort hatten wir eine super Aussicht. Das Essen war abwechslungsreich und für Vegetarier gut geeignet. Der Empfang und der Großteil des Personals ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Meine Freundin hatte während des Aufenthaltes Geburtstag, und es gab sogar eine kleine Torte aufs Zimmer. Wenn man etwas genauer hinsieht, fallen hinter der Fassade einige Missstände auf, die in meinen Augen nichts mit 5 Sterne zutun haben. Das Wlan war überall extrem langsam und ist mehrmals pro Stunde abgebrochen. Eventuell ist das problem nur in der Nähe unseres Zimmers gewesen, dennoch sehr nervig, da es dort teilweise garnicht empfangbar war. Außerdem hatte der Fernseher im Schlafbereich anscheinend nur den Zweck zur Deko. Es war kein Smart TV und auch normales Fernsehen konnte man nicht empfangen. Anfangs fehlte auch die Fernbedienung für die klimaanlage und den TV, auf Nachfrage erhielten wir nur die TV Fernbedienung, die Klimaanlage konnten wir deshalb die ganze Woche nicht benutzen. Bei Essen ist das Personal oft überfordert und man wird gelegentlich vergessen, was die Getränke angeht. Die meisten Gerichte waren sehr fettig und erinnerten eher an Kantinenessen. Die Sportausrüstung für Tennis und Tischtennis ist sehr billig und in die Jahre gekommen.

Hilfsbereites Personal, exzellenter Service, saubere und stilvolle Zimmer, sehr modern, Silvia, das Mädchen im Miniclub, sehr fröhlich und freundlich zu den Kindern, gutes Essen und allgemeine Höflichkeit des Personals. Ich empfehle dieses Hotel, ich hatte wirklich eine tolle Zeit. Ich empfehle es und komme gerne wieder!
