Tropical Sol

Hotel clean and staff very welcoming. Breakfast was fine small area to collect food cause queues. Pool fine plenty of beds. On arrival we were asked to pay taxes which was fine but cash only !! Then we wanted a safe cash only and no receipt. Overall we had a pleasant stay. Resort is lovely plenty of bars and restaurants.

Arrived late evening, receptionist showed us to our room, explained balcony door and main door locks. Room very small, booked a twin but got a double, didn't bother to ask to change rooms.  Room was spotlessly clean, cleaners come in daily (except Sunday). Shower was poor, had to hold whilst washing yourself! Slow drainage on shower water. Air con was free and worked a treat. Room was very noisy, as was near cleaning cupboard and every morning got woken by cleaners chatting. No fault of hotel, but some guests have no respect for others coming in at 4am and slamming doors shut. Balcony was not private. Pool area nice and clean , plenty of sunbeds to go around. I thought pool bar pricing expensive for what you got, 4E for a small beer. Didn't bother with breakfast, so cannot comment on this.  Overall good value, based on what I paid for a week's stay. Location is great, decent supermarket across the road, bars and restaurants on the door step and the beach at the end of street.

The worst hotel experience we've ever had, this is why: I always wear a unique necklace — nothing expensive, but special to me. On the morning of my spa day, I took it off and placed it in a small box in the dresser drawer. That evening, when I went to put it back on, it was gone. My partner and I searched the room thoroughly but it had completely disappeared. The only people with access to the room that day were staff, and we knew the maid had been in. On reporting it to the front desk, the response was incredibly unhelpful — they essentially blamed me and shrugged it off. We were going to file a police report. The next morning, on our way to breakfast, we saw the maid who’d cleaned our room the day it went missing. When we returned half an hour later, she had skipped cleaning the next 10 rooms and was in ours, loudly “finding” the necklace behind a backless bedside table — somewhere we had already checked thoroughly. We no longer felt safe or comfortable staying at the hotel and checked out that day, luckily finding another place to stay nearby. Aside from this awful experience, the hotel room itself was tired and uninspiring. The shower head holder was broken and you had to hold the shower with one hand whilst washing. The breakfast was below average. Only positive was the convenient location to the supermarket and pharmacy. I would highly reccomend anyone to stay at a different hotel but if you do stay here, be aware that your belongings could disspear from your room.

Lovely hotel, the rooms, breakfast and location is great. Always sunbeds round the pool. Great 3 star hotel and definitely value for money. Would come again.

We have just returned from a visit to Tropical Sol Tingaki Kos. It was a lovely hotel very modern spotlessly clean. The food in the cafe was fabulous also the breakfast was very good. All the staff were lovely. The two men in the cafe were really nice. Vasilicas the young lady on reception was a lovely lady. Towels and bedding were changed every day except one. All in all it was a fabulous holiday

The hotel is really nice ,a little dated but spotlessly clean. Breakfast was okay usual continental ,poached eggs ,boiled eggs ,scrambled eggs.beans and lots of breads The maids came every day cleaned changed the towels and were all so lovely and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. Our problem was that we were told the hotel was accessible but when we arrived the room was tiny and my husbands wheel chair could,nt get past the furniture in the room,we eventually managed to move the furniture around and squeeze in but it was,nt ideal and so I asked the staff on reception if they had a bigger room,and i have to say they were really helpful in trying to find us a more spacious room but they were all the same, very tight and so we stayed where we were. The next day we looked around the resort for a bigger place but unfortunately the resort was full and so we had to stay put.The outside of the hotel and the grounds were perfect for wheelchair users and the pool area was perfect too lots of space and more than enough loungers.The pool bar served delicious food from snacks to main meals and the portions were HUGE. The chef Terri took great pride in his food creations and he was always happy and he has a dazzeling smile that has to be seen to be believed, also Yiannis at the bar was so lovely you felt you had known him ages, and so despite the room we did really enjoy our stay but the rooms are definitely not accessible.
