"We love the free laundry service, the hotel staff sent our washed and dried clothes to our rooms the next morning. All towels were sealed in bags to ensure cleanliness. We were served honey drinks immediately when the staff met us at the counter. The rooms we booked were spacious. The location is definitely excellent. I highly recommend this hotel."

"Room was a little compact but guess that’s because it’s in the old town and food and shopping are just downstairs, a minute’s walk away. The staff at the reception were very helpful and special mention to 余秋who helped us navigate the apps in mandarin. The laundromat provided is well equipped with laundry facilities. We will go back to the hotel if we return to Kunming. The breakfast spread is reasonable and there is also free supper (porridge to warm the body after coming back from the cold outside). Great local hotel."

"A good hotel close to Kunming station, you can walk to it. The room is huge, comfy bed. The soundproofing is not really good and some lifts are in a very bad state."

"So glad I chose this hotel! Liruide Hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. Its location is fantastic, just a short walk from Cuihu Park (unlike many other hotels that claim to be near but are much further). There are also countless excellent restaurants and shops nearby, offering plenty of choices. The hotel itself is superb. Being on a high floor, the Sky Bar and restaurant on the 19th floor offer panoramic views of Cuihu Park and the beautiful cityscape of Kunming. If you book a lake view room, you can enjoy the stunning views of Cuihu Lake right from your room, which was a wonderful surprise. The hotel's decor, with its strong contrast of classic black, red, and grey, feels modern, stylish, and tasteful from the moment you step into the lobby. I especially loved the "ENJOY IT" neon signs in the lobby and restaurant; indeed, you can truly enjoy all the beauty Liruide has to offer. My room, though not large, was incredibly comfortable. The bedding ensured a good night's sleep. It was spotlessly clean, and the shower had great water pressure and hot water, draining super fast (many hotels struggle with drainage, but Liruide nailed this detail). The smart toilet was a nice bonus. While breakfast wasn't lavish, it featured local Yunnan specialties and was more than sufficient. A freshly made rice noodle roll with a generous topping of braised meat was the perfect way to start a day full of energy. What truly touched me was the friendly and thoughtful staff. After checking out, I had a video conference in the lobby, and a staff member specially lowered the lobby music volume for me and kindly brought a bottle of water. A huge thank you to Mr. Curry at the front desk for his meticulous service. Your kind and warm attention made us feel as comfortable and wonderful as if we were home, which is a rare treat for those of us constantly on the go. Oh, and the rose petal shortbread offered at check-in was absolutely delicious! The rich rose fragrance bloomed in my mouth with just the right touch of sweetness – unforgettable. For parking, you can drive onto the sidewalk, inform the front desk, and a staff member will immediately valet park your car. After a two-day stay, my experience was simply perfect. The next time I'm in Kunming for business, I'll definitely book here in advance to enjoy it all again."

"This veteran hotel, opened in 1956, is one of the Ten Great Buildings dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. It boasts an incredibly grand 12-meter high lobby, a rare sight these days. The unique 'airplane building' design is super photogenic. The service is impeccable, and both the Chinese and Western breakfast spreads are abundant. The location by Cuihu Lake is also incredibly convenient. Highly recommended!"

"Good clean, nice view. Location generally good. But food options if wanna buy by yourself got to go a bit far to kunming plaza unless you order from *******. Generally most of the staffs here are professional and polite. I am very pleasantly happy with the services provided here. Food option is simple but enough. The rice noodle is quite nice though. Simple suggestion would be hope TV is connected to netflix or some movie app or channels would be ideal. Thank you Parkwin. My son enjoyed it."
