Kunming Xishan District Hotels

Absolutely loved our stay here! We booked 2 rooms And the service was above expectation! Rooms was clean and quiet The staff 吕许一 陈瑞 付喻 龙小丽 helped us so much! Thank you! And there was others who was on duty which I didn’t get their names. I would choose to stay here again! The location is awesome as it’s close to all the local shops and night market for food and drinks. Breakfast is tasty and lots of option u can choose from. I also love the late breakfast option. Thank you for a wonderful experience! The staff also helped us to send some parcels And also assisted with luggage pick up and drop offs.

Our stay in the Moon Shine Courtyard hotel in Kunming was fantastic. The awards as best traditional hotel in the city center do not disappoint. The building is beautiful, the room was absolutely perfect, breakfast delicious, and the staff of the hotel were extremely helpful and kind. If you have time while visiting the city, they offer all type of activities to enjoy the local culture (calligraphy, afternoon tea…) that will make your stay even more special. We can only recommend this hotel as it was a perfect choice for our stay in Kunming. Will stay here again if we come backe 😊 PS: Special mention for the 5star service of the front desk staff escorting us to the taxi under the rain carrying an umbrella during our checkout. Details like this do make the difference 👌

One of the best stay I had in Yunnan. The area is as shown in the pictures, the lobby full of flowers and jungle theme. There is no lift, so you have to carry your luggage upstairs to level 1. But the owner was very helpful and offer hands to carry our luggage upstairs as well. Also offer help to throw our damaged luggage. The location is only few minutes walks away to the shopping mall. The location is quiet strategic, closer to Jinma Bijifang but quiet a walk to halal foods. We love this place so much and its a great place to stay! Definitely will book here again if we got a chance to come by.

It was a happy day in Kunming. Check-in was smooth and the environment was very good. There was a billiard table at the front desk so you could play while waiting. Check-in was fast and the reception staff were very enthusiastic and positive. The manager, the front desk staff and the housekeeping aunt were all very satisfied. Any problems were solved in a timely manner. The children also had a great time in the hot springs. There were also bathrobes, slippers and toothbrushes for the children, which were quite well prepared. Very pleasant stay

Facilities: Perfect Hygienic: clean and tidy Environment: Quiet Service: Passion The inn is clean and tidy, the environment is quiet, the boss is a handsome guy, very enthusiastic and take the initiative to help us carry our luggage, each step of the stairs is covered with independent carpet to reduce the sound of going upstairs, the details are particularly good, careful and thoughtful, the inn is very close to the Haitang Dam within ten minutes walk, Although I don't have a seagull now, I can blow the wind and see the Dianchi Lake. The inn is also comfortable to sleep. It is a very good inn!

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such warmth by Polly, and it instantly gave us a sense of true Kunming hospitality. Her kindness and professionalism made us feel right at home from day one. Even on our last day, after an unexpected mishap outside the hotel, Polly and LiMon both stepped in to support us — going above and beyond to make sure we were okay and had a smooth experience before heading to our flight. We’re truly grateful for their care. LiMon was also incredibly helpful with our luggage and provided kind support during that stressful moment — we really appreciated the thoughtfulness and calm he brought to the situation. The room was spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable — the bed was cozy, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the shower was excellent. While the view wasn’t particularly special, everything else about the room made up for it. One downside was the pool, which was under renovation for several more months, despite being listed as available when we booked. It was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel — hoping for some poolside downtime. The gym was decent, with good treadmills, but missing quite a bit of equipment, so the amenities didn’t fully match a 5-star expectation. That said, the service and staff were truly outstanding, and the location was super convenient — close to Kunming Night Market, Joy City Mall, and most key attractions were within a 20-minute drive. Overall, despite a few hiccups on the amenities side, the genuine care from Polly, LiMon, and the whole team made our stay memorable. Huge thanks again — we felt truly taken care of.

It was a fabulous stay at the Wanda Vista. The room was clean & tidy. The breakfast offerings have a good spread including sliced bread/croissant/pastries/toaster & coffee! Leaf Ye & a male colleague assisted with late checkout till 1500hrs when my flight departure was delayed. Checking out was quick and effortless again with Leaf Ye!

The hotel is located on the bank of Dianchi Lake. The appearance of the villa and the overall decoration in black and white tones collide to show high-end and fashion. The moment you step into the hotel, you can feel the service full of ritual. When checking in, the staff brought hot water and Yunnan specialty flower cakes. All the processes were smooth and professional. The hotel exudes high-end atmosphere from inside to outside. I really love the fireplace decoration in the lobby and the room. It is beyond taking pictures! The room is equipped with Dyson hair dryers and electric toilets.. Every detail and hardware facilities can be seen to have made great efforts. The degree of care is full marks. Afternoon tea and breakfast can be enjoyed when you check in. I give full marks for the taste. The latte art is also very beautiful. By the way! There is also a free cocktail appreciation in the evening. You can drink while watching a movie. It is really comfortable~. When you leave the hotel, the staff will send you a souvenir. It contains Bulgari hand cream, which is very touching. It is just right for the winter. The stay experience is excellent. Everything is worth it. I strongly recommend it to everyone! ! !

JinLangYuan Hotel is a very nice hotel. Hotel is very clean and centrally located. The hotel looks modern, with just one calling ”siao tu, siao tu”, you can commend to open aircon, tv, blinds and lights. Rooms are big with complete amenities. Breakfast is sufficient with variety to choose from salad, congee, noodles, sandwich, pastries that comes with coffee and tea. Hotel personels are quick to respond to our requests with smile. Lots of eateries and stores just outside the hotel. JL hotel is just across the NANpING pedestrian street, where one can shop, dine and do other activities, very accessible to transportation. Will surely stay in this hotel when in Kunming.

We had a fantastic stay at the HUALUXE Hotel in Kunming. The hotel offers excellent service, comfortable rooms, delicious food, and a friendly atmosphere. A special thanks to Stephan, who went above and beyond to assist us throughout our stay. Since we don’t speak Chinese, Stephan was always there to help with any communication barriers, making sure all our needs were met. His dedication and support 24/7 truly made our experience memorable. We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again in the future!
