We have high speed Wi-fi . 5 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths Sandbridge is a quiet little beach neighborhood several miles south of the Virginia Beach strip just to the north of the North Carolina line. Sandbridge is sometimes referred to as 'the Outer Banks of Virginia'. The game room is a detached garage that has been converted to its own space with a ping pong table, full size refrigerator , Pyramid style bunkbed ( double bed down and single on top) and flat screen Smart TV. Bring your XBox or video games and hook up to the TV. Ample parking; however, Parking Can be an issue if you bring a lot of large vehicles so call me with questions on this issue. Sandbridge has no on street parking. . We are only one block from the public beach where lifeguards are on duty in the summer months. If you have small children this is a big plus. The street in front is generally for local traffic and has very little traffic, even in the peak of summer. Beach access is right across this sleepy little road.You can walk down this little street about a block or so to the local market for morning coffee, fresh doughnuts and deli sandwiches for breakfast lunch and dinner....Restaurant has the best pizza and a sports bar all within easy walk, You can watch the sunrise and sip coffee from one of our coffee makers on the front deck, while the others sleep and look forward to another sunny day at the pool or beach. In the evenings, some of our guests like to enjoy cocktails on the front deck looking out over the ocean. Or on the back and pool decks at sunset..There are many other restaurants a few minutes drive away. "The Baja" rocks with live music most nights in the summertime. Back Bay Wildlife Refuge is just a few minutes south and you sometimes see wild horses and pigs and other wildlife year-round. If you want to cook there is a fully stocked kitchen, gas grill on the back pool deck ,and large areas for dining either inside or on the front or back decks. Hell's Point Golf Course is about 5 minutes up the road and is consistently ranked in the top 100 of all public courses in the country. Tennis courts and playgrounds and a fishing pier are another 5 minutes in the other direction. The Virginia Beach Oceanfront is about 15 minutes to the north .. It is a quieter area with no public parking, so the beaches are much less crowded than the south end of Sandbridge.This home is managed by Chris at New School Hosting. I'm a native of Virginia Beach and my family has rented beach houses from "old school" property managers for years, and I've rarely been impressed. At Sandpiper Retreat, you can expect:- Unlimited toilet paper, paper towels, and other necessities- Upgraded towels- Comfortable mattresses and new pillows of various thicknesses- Prompt responses to your questions and concernsfrom a real person who actually cares (typically, me!)- A fully stocked kitchen (including a stocked coffee bar) with quality pots, pans, knives, etc.Other things to note- Sandpiper Retreat is pet friendly! We allow up to 4 pets with a $200 pet fee (total, not per pet or per night). We provide some helpful supplies for pet-owners.- Pool opening date is 3/30/26 through 10/9/26.- The large driveway can fit about 8 vehicles- Wifi is fast with a strong signal throughout the house.
