I don't understand the negative reviews, i stayed her end of Oct 24 for my birthday with my partner 11yr old & 18 year old sons. We had a lovely stay. I have booked to go back in a few weeks excellent location. My son has a peanut & nut allergy and kathy & Maureen were so helpful with this See you soon Kathy & Maureen

I have to give this little Gem of a place 5 stars. Myself and my husband travel to Lanzarote twice a year and as it was a last min holiday I was looking for somwere cheep and basic but we got a lot more. We arrived late in the evening so there was an envelope with our key and WiFi code for our room. We got room 19 witch was spotless clean and it was a pool view appartment. We had extra pillows in the wardrobe witch was great as my husband has a bad back and normally you would have to ask for them. Good WiFi is a must for us as we like to chill and watch movies in the evening and the speed was amazing even with a tablet,our phones and a fire stick. There is little bar called Kathy's open daily and they do lovely breakfast at very reasonable price. The appartments were also very quit and the pool was lovely. I see people complain about the maids only coming in once a week to clean but we were quit happy to wash our own towels. It's only a 10 min walk from the main ***** with all bars and restaurants. I was very surprised and happy with Luz y mar for the price we paid and we will definitely be back. Thank you for a nice relaxing week.

Nice pool with deckchairs and good location bar staff nice and always cleaning around tables but apartments are full of cockroaches, ants, bathroom full of flys, bugs everywhere…. No need to visit the zoo when you have these apartments! Dont recommend!

We are here right now, don’t know why some of these reviews are so bad, Kathy and the staff at the pool bar are so friendly, prices are cheap enough, there’s plenty of choice for food and drink, the apartments are spacious, clean, nice little balcony / terrace over looking the pool, supermarket’s restaurants and bars just down the road, as is the the big shopping centre. Rooms are clean, your not paying for a 5* hotel. We’ve come with 2 teens and a family friend, we will definitely be returning here !

I honestly can't see why people give this good reviews. Apartment was filthy, ants everywhere, bathroom sink, floors, beds. could not buy food as ants even in presses. Shower was useless. Apartment crowded for 2 adults and 2 kids. Cockroches in kitchen drawer. A male staff member knocked on door early on our second day and changed towels and never seen another for the rest of the week. We had to dump our rubbish from bins in skips outside. No sheets changed or housekeeping. Front doors face a road. No security, no lifeguard. Sunbeds filthy. 2 single beds in room awful, kids even complained. 2 rusted campbeds placed in living area awful. Mattresses on all beds terrible. Really horrible place. Only good thing was staff at bar at pool. I have traveled and stayed in all kinds of places, I'm not fussy and make do once the place is clean and has a decent bed but this place had neither. Would 100% not recommend, stay away!

Good spot close to old and new town 10 minute walk each way. There is a short cut to the ***** if you don’t like the hills. Close to Lidl and spar. Food reasonably priced the staff very welcoming Quiet at night, good vibe. Pool clean regularly cleaners in regular Kids had a ball. No complaints 👍
