Palazzo Zimara Boutique Hotel

Wonderful hotel, exceeded all my expectations, very luxury room, excellent location on main pedestrian street, very friendly and helpful staff.

This hotel is fabulous, our room was palatial and we were blessed to get a free upgrade. Bed was super comfortable. The staff are so friendly and helpful, they couldn’t do enough. Breakfast was lovely, with a wonderful selection. Perfect location and can’t imagine anywhere better to stay in Lecce.

All that a boutique hotel should be - small, charming staff, special and carefully presented. Like the best boutique hotels, Palazzo Zimara offers a good bar and restaurant to the outside world so they’re viable. It’s a great bonus for guests despite the hotel only having around 25 rooms. The walled garden is a special joy in which to take the hotel’s substantial well presented and prepared breakfast. We were told that this relatively new hotel had taken some 5 years to restore. It’s beautifully done and the ancient and modern work well together. We stayed in a roof top suite which was clean with modern fittings. Most of all we appreciated the discreet but diligent work of the outstanding staff to ensure we enjoyed our stay. They are rightly proud of their new hotel. Lecce is an interesting town with its striking brickwork and baroque style. The old gated City is largely pedestrianised and is a bustling tourist destination. We went in early June and it was hot for the time of year, low 30s (centigrade). That made the hotel a great oasis. Thanks to all at Hotel Zimara.
