Central Plaza

Feels like a classic case of bait and switch. Booked though ******* and my booking was cancelled several days before due to my CC was not accepted.i was offered a rebooking which I accepted. Upon arrival at the address, I managed to access the building and went up to the reception area - a small room on the second floor, The same CC worked! But my room was in a different building about 10 min walk away. Reason given forr switch was water damage that had not been fixed. However it sure how true this is. The lady walked us over to the different building and ws nice and chatty along the way. The room was dated and reminded me of cheap student accommodation. Old work out sheets and towels. A vintage looking stove that had a gas odor coming from it The wifi didn’t work and I couldn’t work out how turn on the aircon. The second bed was also in the main area beside the door that did not feel safe for our children to sleep in. We decided over dinner this was not the place we wanted to stay and returned the keys and found a new place to stay. We didn’t checkout as there was no one to speak to. Most/all communication from original communication to checking out was via chat. I don’t know how ******* has a 8 point review. It def was not the same room or building I ended up in. The reviews in trip advisor seem much more realistic. Didn’t get to try the Mcdonals/Cafe breakfast as gave back the vouchers.

We were asked to present ourselves at a different address only to find out that they had changed the location of our rooms. Supposedly, our room at the Central Plaza had a plumbing issue that was not resolved. We refused the new rooms and asked to cancel our reservation but they would not refund us. We pushed the issue and suddenly our rooms were available again. Rooms more spacious, better location but really run down. Beds were dipping in the middle or sloping to the sides. Complained but we were told they were worn and nothing to be done. A/C didn’t work, they said they were coming to check and 1 1/2 hours later no one had come. At this point it was midnight. Towels were smelly. Mold in the shower and you would think that windows were always open since all sounds came through. Really nothing positive about our stay. The client’s comfort is definitely not a priority! Stay away from this place!!!!

Bed condition was so so so terrible. Heating system was terrible need to wear thick clothes for sleeping. No parking near hotel. Nearest parking lot €15 for half day. Included breakfasts was one bread and one drink. Only good thing was property location.

Great location, fantastic price. Hard to find but not impossible.

Ho prenotato con booking i primi di agosto per il 13 settembre , pernotto di una notte, 4 persone in occasione di piano city lecce. Ho aggiornato la carta di credito, come richiesto via mail e chiamato in struttura dove mi hanno confermato la prenotazione e mi sono proposta di fare subito il pagamento ma mi è stato risposto che non c'era bisogno e che avrei saldato in struttura, avrei dovuto ricontattarli solo se booking mi avesse mandato altre mail, ma ciò non è avvenuto.L'11.09 ho chiamato la struttura per avere indicazioni sui parcheggi nella zona e, dopo avermi confermato nuovamente la prenotazione (!) mi hanno comunicato che mi avrebbero mandato un messaggio con le indicazioni. Nella notte tra il 12 e il 13 ricevo una mail di disdetta prenotazione! Chiamo in struttura e mi dicono che booking ha cancellato la prenotazione e hanno già occupato la quadrupla mentre noi facevamo bene 180 km circa! Ho fatto presente che mi era stata assicurata e garantita la prenotazione e booking non poteva cancellarla in quanto la carta era stata registrata correttamente. La mancanza di professionalità è notevole! Con un evento in corso a Lecce,trovare un posto per 4 persone,di cui 1 ragazzo e 1 bambino (!) non è stato facile. Mi dispiace ma queste sono le tristi realtà che ci accompagnano e che non dovrebbero esserci e, pertanto, diventa doveroso rendere edotti i futuri,possibili, avventori della struttura. Non abbiamo provato la struttura ma la nostra esperienza è pessima.

Cancellano la prenotazione due giorni prima dicendo che la carta nn è valida, mentre invece secondo me rivendono la camera ad un prezzo più alto, li ho anche segnalati su *******, con la speranza che nessun altro capiti la stessa cosa
