Incredible location. Beautiful hotel. Very comfortable and a central balcony with the most incredible view of the old City. Breathtaking and very unique feature. Very helpful and friendly staff. Free parking is a bit of a walk

Petit hôtel charmant et neuf avec vue magnifique sur Matera depuis la terrasse. Chambres neuves. Très belle salle de bains. Beaucoup de goût dans la décoration raffinée. La personne de la réception, un homme de 55/60 ans est d’une extrême gentillesse. Il a un sens du service extraordinaire et fait beaucoup dans la qualité de cet hôtel outre ses prestations.

First of all- this hotel is nice- BUT while traveling with a friend and her young daughter we were subjected to such rude and threatening behavior by the manager that I cannot recommend it to anyone. Because we couldn't find the confirmation number we called the hotel that afternoon and they confirmed our room. When we arrived late afternoon we gave the name and our passports to the desk clerk and were signed in and led to our room. An hour later, after we had all showered and we in varius states of undress, the clerk comes up and tells us the room was meant for someone else . He admitted he had made a mistake. In the next half hour they became increasingly insistent that we leave right away while we insisted it was not our fault and that they needed to find us a room and pay for it. The manager of the hotel called us and was screaming at me to "leave my hotel in ten minutes or I'll call the police." He also yelled at and threatened my friends daughter with police involvement. For three women alone in a foreign country this was more than a little alarming. This situation could have been handled so much better- we were clearly not drifters off the street looking to steal a room for the night! Our inability to find the details was our fault, but they gave us the room after being told the name on the reservation, and, even though he did find us a lesser room somewhere else, we were forced to pay. Very poor customer service from a quality hotel.

This was an excellent and beautiful hotel with a very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were clean and inviting with excellent access to the local stores and sites.

Super petit hôtel de 7 chambres dans un grand palais en centre ville de Matera . Facile d'accès même en voiture mais néanmoins un emplacement idéal pour profiter de la richesse de la totalité de Matera. L'équipe de réception explique parfaitement comment bien découvrir Matera en deux ou trois jours, c'est un site exceptionnel qui mérite au minimum 48h de visite. Les chambres sont grandes et très bien équipées , le petit déjeuner proposé est gentiment servi et bien suffisant.
