"It was a pleasant stay. Definitely in need of more facilities, the pool was good but it would be great to get a spa or gym too. Breakfast was lacking variety for the asking price. I had to ask and mention the carpark to avoid a $104 fee! Lucky they helped me with a ticket that was only $16 for the day. The room was very tidy and we did enjoy having room snacks and beverages provided. Overall a good stay."

"Before arriving in Melbourne, the hotel called to inform me that the air conditioner was broken and it would take a few days to repair it, and asked if I needed to check out. I always choose this hotel every time I go to Melbourne. It has been more than 10 years. Although the hotel facilities and environment are relatively old, it is in the city center, very convenient to get in and out, and there are trams, restaurants and shopping nearby. In the end, I chose to stay. In Melbourne's summer, the temperature difference between morning and evening is quite large. It is very hot during the day but still very comfortable at night. The hotel is quite considerate and equipped with fans. The only inconvenient thing is cleaning. You need to tell the front desk before 10 o'clock every morning, and they will arrange it. After 10 o'clock, you have to wait until the next day to clean. I will choose this hotel next time I go to Melbourne."

"My girl loves this hotel as the location is just perfect. It's conveniently situated within the free tram zone, giving you the option to easily hop on a tram whenever you're tired of walking. There are convenient shops, restaurants and cafes within walking distance, and even a few fast food options nearby when you return late from tours - which is particularly helpful since most restaurants close quite early in the area."

"I have no specific request to rooms but I just want an early check-in. I think it was Natalie checking me in and she was super nice. She managed to offer me a room and it was close enough to the lifts! Everything was so good. The breakfast was a bit disappointing. However it’s included so still acceptable, 6/10. Well done to the front desk staffs and housekeeping staff, and whoever cleaned my room, I wanna give credit to them because they even adjust the map on my table to match the direction of the entry door. Location is super duper brilliant. 1-2 mins walk from Southern Cross Station and seconds to Bourke Street tram. I could easily get access to trams and the Skybus! Would definitely recommend to stay!"

"We were warmly welcomed and assist with the check in by jays. She is friendly and polite making the check in an ease. The room was clean and spacious, the bed were very comfortable. Air con was working well. There’s a kitchen component which was handy as I like fruits. Our room is on the 9 floor and facing very closely to the next building which I felt a little watched. The hotel has a gym and a semi heated indoor pool and sauna which is lovely, you can go anytime without checking the weather. Trams just right below and eateries around, very convenient. On our last day, it was raining and Desmond went beyond and above to shelter us with umbrella to our cab. I had a good deal with the platform I booked with and I think it was value for money for us and we enjoyed ourselves at the hotel. Highly recommend :)"

"The room is old, and the shower station is a bathtub. The overall feeling is like an old hotel in China, but it is clean and tidy. The water table is also clean, as is the toilet. It is quite comfortable to sit in the small living room, and there is a botanical garden at the door, and the air is great."

"1. The details of the room are very stylish. 2. There is a large bed and a sofa bed, as well as a Rubik's Cube for children to play with. This detail is worthy of praise. Suitable for families and parent-child travel. 3. There is a washing machine and complete tableware, but there is no stove. It is no problem to heat bread and milk in the microwave. 4. Big advantage: You can check out at 11 o'clock, and you can also apply for a later check-out under special circumstances! Other hotels have check-out at 10 o'clock! 5. The buffet is also good (Western style bread and snacks). 6. The location is good, very close to Chinatown, and the nearby attractions in the city center are within walking distance. The aquarium, train station, Federation Square, museums... are all nearby! Two words, convenient! Disadvantages: 1. Self-service check-in. Due to the delay of the flight, it was already past 11pm when I arrived at the hotel. The front and back doors of the hotel were closed. I called and said that an email had sent me the password, but the agency that booked the room did not forward it to me. , it took half an hour before a staff member came downstairs to help me get the key. 2. The water in the sink is not flowing smoothly, and the water is blocked even when I brush my teeth and wash my face. It is probably an old problem that cannot be solved. I was too lazy to bother with it in the middle of the night, so I just used the sink in the hall."

GGuest UserThis is a very nice resort. The interior is very clean and large. Bed is comfortable and toilet is good with jacuzzi. You will see kangaroos and cockatoos outside the cottage in the morning and evening. My kids enjoy the stay very much. However you need to either cook your own meals or drive out to eat. The drive is about 15 mins.

MMarco Polo The TravellerThis hotel is near the southern cross station which is the destination of the skybus from airport. It’s very convenient to go back and forth to the southern cross station. In CBD, there is a free tram zone in which people have no needa tap on or off their myki card, and the hotel is close to tram stations too. Also, it’s walking distance between the hotel and flinders station/ Lune/ Pidapipó CBD. If you book one day tour, tour guide usually pick you up at Great Southern Hotel, which is next to this hotel. The hotel offers 247 reception. Check-in and Check-out were quick. Body wash and shampoo were provided, but not toothpaste and toothbrush. The room was small but good enough for a person. The room was tidy.

AAnonymous UserExcellent service from the front desk. They were all very smiley, welcoming, and friendly. Bathroom is super clean. I appreciate the amount of coffee, tea, and milk provided even tho it's for a night. Bed is alright, but I smelled sth musty, which cld be the carpet 🤔 Only thing tat will deter me from booking again is the noise from the streets. Not sure why it's still so noisy past midnight.

AAnonymous UserThis hotel has the worst service of any Hyatt I have ever stayed at. The overall staff was absent-minded, and no one ever answered the front desk phone or room service. Several times we had to run downstairs to communicate with the front desk. There are no bathrobes in the hotel, which is the first time I have encountered this.

GGuest UserNot recommended for those who value their personal data security and privacy. Not recommended for internati9nal travellers who may not have enough charge on their phones to complete 3 forms, then download and set up an app that requires constant internet and Bluetooth connections. Booking required multiple insecure methods of sharing credit card details and identification documents along with 2 forms to fill out with personal details and an app to download in order to gain access to the Building entrance, Elevator, and Apartment. None of this information was given to me prior to booking. I would not have stayed here if I had known the extent of insecure transmission of personal information and amount of admin and work required just to check in and stay one night. I work in this space and know the risks. Management is putting guests personal data at risks with the excessive documentation requests. FYI, requiring someone to send credit card PICTURES and ID pictures over email is completely insecure. This is bizarrely at odds with the excessive security to get into the building. The constant need to carry your phone everywhere or you'd be locked of the apartment or even the whole building was extremely stressful. In terms of the actual room, once I got in, the bed, kitchen, lounge and floors were clean but the toilet had not been cleaned in a long time. This was not nice. You could see parts under the rim had not been cleaned in years. Toilet had also been recently used and not flushed properly upon arrival. I did not take photos of any of this, it was too gross. I ended up buying paper cups as the glasses/cups as those supplied were not clean, tried to take a picture but it's hard to see. They were covered in fingerprints and fibres of some kind. The view was nice and loungeroom was great, study nook was extremely handy for remote work. Balcony tiles are moving and could be a tripping hazard. Laundry was well equipped but did not have time to use it.

KKarinaCannot fault the staff however the amenities need overhaul. The rooms TV didn’t work was advised couldn’t be fixed until the following day. Went to use hairdryer to find out no power points on that side of room were working. Again advised cant be fixed straight away. Had to use TV as a mirror for blow drying hair! Then we continued to get calls after 10pm from reception checking if everything was alright despite being told it cannot be fixed. Really disappointing. On a positive to GM and receptionist Cheryl were outstanding in trying to assist and did remove some charges.

GGuest UserLocation: Can be tricky to find the first time as you need to turn onto Cyril Street. Look across the road for the white building with red writing. Check-in: easy and fast. The man on reception is friendly and organised, just a lovely receptionist. There is a bond of $200; be organised and you’ll save your time and the receptionist’s time. You can pay the bond in cash. Parking: great, BUT there are some permanents living there and so you might want to park away from them… you will see immediately where you should not park :) clean parking area. Seemed organised. Room: very clean, comfortable. There are no knives, forks or plates, but there is a kettle and a microwave. Teas coffees, etc. six milk pods, so maybe bring milk if you need more. Really make sure that you close the door properly or it will seem shut, but not actually be shut and will open :) Good curtains in the room that block out the light from outside. I noticed a fair amount of security cameras outside on the walkway, which was reassuring. Fantastic showers with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The bed is firm, but I liked it. Would or wouldn’t stay again? Unfortunately, no, not while they are acting as ‘crisis accommodation’. The staff and room were great, but there are some undesirables living there who kept us awake all night. Not exaggerating when I say, did not sleep AT ALL. We were up and down to check on the car - the permanents were screaming, fighting - some real Jerry Springer stuff. I was upstairs and the people next to me had a dog that barked all night, in addition to the couple screaming at each other :/ Downstairs, fighting, screaming constantly. it sounded like something got broken downstairs. A guy on a motorbike kept coming and going, visiting the permanents downstairs and talking super loudly, then more yelling and fighting after he tore off on his bike. I didn’t feel safe; I expected the car to get damaged. I realise those people’s behaviour is not the motel’s fault, but I was so tired the next day that I got a migraine and yeah, still fending it off now, day after. Not impressed with those feral permanents. It’s a shame because the staff and rooms are great

TTaralesleyWe had an amazing stay at Quest Flemington Central. Our room was clean, comfortable and well presented. The kitchen was packed with a full sized fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and all plates, bowls, cups or cutlery we could need. Washer and dryer as well as a balcony, it really was a lovely room, we were very happy! The pool was heated and the roof top view was gorgeous, it was very relaxing and great for a morning or late night dip. Staff were very respectful and accommodating.
