Beiju Courtyard (Arctic Village Laoguandong Food Mansion)

I stayed there for two days and it was quite comfortable. The courtyard is not far from the Arctic Square and the northernmost post office. The owner and his parents are very nice people. My uncle and aunt would cook breakfast for us every day, and on New Year’s Eve they invited us to have dinner together. They made celery dumplings for us, which were delicious. There was money inside, and I ate two. Very lucky. The three of us lived on a big kang, which was big enough for three people to sleep on. The kang is not a traditional fire-burning kang, so the temperature is just right and not too hot. It is just the right temperature to sleep on with a thin quilt, and very comfortable. While eating dumplings on New Year's Eve, we talked about the extremely cold light column, and said that it hadn't appeared for a long time. As a result, not long after we returned to the room after eating the dumplings, my uncle knocked on the door and asked us to go out to see the light column. The young man also took us to the backyard to find an open space for us to take pictures of the light beam. We were really lucky. Before we checked out on the morning of New Year's Day, our uncle and aunt cooked dumplings for us. However, we left without eating because we ate too much the night before. We were very lucky to meet this family, they were all warm people.

The trip to the North Pole made me feel that my stay was very warm and the boss was really enthusiastic. We arrived very late and the boss asked us if we had eaten yet and he enthusiastically cooked us noodles! This B&B is connected to the hotel in front of it. The chef’s cooking is super delicious. It’s very convenient for meals and accommodation.
